Shane’s armor was of the same type as Bette’s and she basically was armed the same way. The only difference was that she had a long bow strapped to her back, Bette always said that Shane was the better shot.

Bette turned to Shane and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Are you sure you’re good for this? Its okay if you aren’t"

Shane shook her head, "I’m good, I swear. This is for Tina. Besides . . I need to know if that was really Dana"

Bette took a deep breath and nodded slowly. She needed to know too.

"How about you? Are you good for this?"

Bette knew what Shane was talking about. Without Tina, she was a ticking time bomb. Bette was a wreck and it showed on her face. She was beyond determined and would do anything to get her Tina back, which wasn’t necessarily a good thing. She was usually very reckless in this state and could put others in danger.

Bette knew that she had to be cautious and think things through this time around. They needed to get through this in one piece.

"I’m good, I swear"

Shane tried to smile at her friend’s use of her own words but she just couldn’t.

"At least let me go with you!"

Bette, Shane and Kit turned and saw Tasha walking over to them, well trying to anyway. Alice was holding tightly to her armored arm and pulling it in the opposite direction.

Tasha was the strongest fighter out of all of them and so she wore the heaviest armor, strapped with heavier weapons. If they weren’t on the same side, Bette would have felt a little uneasy taking on Tasha even given her Oracle abilities.

Tasha turned around and gently cupped Alice’s face, speaking softly to her lover. Bette and the others weren’t able to hear what was being said but they saw that tears were streaming down Alice’s face.

After a few minutes, Alice nodded and Tasha leaned in to give her a deep kiss. Bette felt a pang of jealousy and instantly felt guilty about it. She should have been happy her friend had found someone but all Bette could think about was how Tina wasn’t with her.
