"Are you closing your eyes to ignore me again?"

Bette’s eyes snapped open in surprise at the voice. She was pulled from her thoughts once again but this time she didn’t know whether or not to be grateful.

Leaving Jodi’s castle was complete chaos. The events that occurred weren’t things that Bette could ever shake from her mind and she felt a sharp pang in her heart from seeing Dana again. It had been a while since she dreamed of Dana. God, how she missed her friend.

"Uh, hellooo?"

Bette pursed her lips and turned her head to give Jenny an annoyed look.

"Actually I was sleeping"

Jenny shrugged, "Oh, well you’re awake now so stop being so boring and let’s talk about something"

Bette rolled her eyes and turned her head to focus on a spot in the wall in front of her. The stone had been chipped from her constantly throwing little stones at it to ease her mind.

"Jenny, I don’t feel like talking right now"

"Its not like you have anything else to do"

Bette sighed and placed one of her feet flat on the cot, resting her arm over the bent knee as she turned her head back to look at Jenny.

"Fine. What do you want to talk about?"

Jenny sat on the edge of her cot, her hands on either side as she looked up to the ceiling in thought.

"How about . . . how you and the Princess ended up sneaking around"

Bette raised an eyebrow. It still bothered her how Jenny knew about her relationship with Tina not to mention she didn’t trust the girl. Sure Jenny said that she was too late to tell Jodi about Tina but that doesn’t change the fact that she tried anyway.

"Why do you want to know?" Bette sighed.

Jenny rolled her eyes, "Oh come on, I’m just making conversation. Its not like its something that can be used against you anymore. Jodi already knows you two are fucking"

Bette narrowed her eyes, "How did you find out? And don’t give me that bull about us being obvious"

Jenny pursed her lips, obviously fighting herself about whether to talk or not. Bette raised an eyebrow again. The hesitation was adding to the suspicion.
