All The Fallen ~*~ Chapter 14 ~*~ Reality
“Hello? Is that the best you can do?” Doyle asked in a throaty voice, her green eyes flaring with something between laughter and annoyance.
Susan leaned her head back, gripped Doyle’s hair, and crushed her lips with her own, Doyle’s body pressed into hers. “For now,” she grinned lasciviously. “Doyle, this is Helena Peabody. Helena? This is Doyle.”
“It’s nice to meet you, Doyle. Do you have a last name?” Helena asked, always wanting to check pedigree.
Doyle shook her head, blonde hair brushing her shoulders. “Just Doyle. Helena Peabody? Of the Peabody Foundation? Peggy Peabody?” Doyle’s sculpted eyebrows shot up, this was a treat.
Helena smiled and nodded.
“What brings you to LA?” Doyle asked as she slid into the chair next to Susan, reached out and ran her hand slowly up the Domme’s arm. Susan felt the most desirable shiver moving up her spine, what Jo called a frisson. This woman was just too much to not have, again, and again.
“The California Center for the Arts wants to do a retrospective for Ellen Barnes. Thirty years of her work. We’re thinking of funding it.” Helena said as if it were nothing at all to be dropping a few million someone’s way.
“How exciting! I don’t believe she’s shown anything for years.” Doyle said, Susan cast her a secret look, thinking there was a lot to Doyle. More than just looks and color palettes.
“She hasn’t. It would be quite a coup. Are you an artist?”
“Interior design actually, my canvas is a building, a room, or just a wall. Though I do like to think I bring an artistic flair to my work,” Doyle smiled, soft dimples appearing on her cheeks.
“Doyle designed my club. You should see it some time.” Susan said with a grin, baiting her.
“I’d like that.” She cast another look in Carmen’s direction, hesitated, then decided. “How about now?”
Susan tilted her jaw up slightly, fixed Helena with a piercing look, radiating sex and power. Helena swallowed visibly but could not break away from Susan’s eyes. “Now would be good,” Susan said in a low sultry voice. She glanced at Doyle. “Would you like to join us? Perhaps point out some of the subtleties of your design?”
