CHAPTER 9
The shrill sound of a phone ringing breaks the shared euphoric moment. Bette reaches around to grab the phone without breaking her gaze with Tina who is adoringly stroking her cheek.
“Someone better be dead or dying.” Bette growls into the phone eliciting a light chuckle from Tina who presses her lips against Bette’s.
“Well good morning to you Baby Sis.”
“Sorry Kit. What’s up?”
“I just wanted to see how you’re doing. Thank you for last night and let you know that the girls want to have brunch in the next hour or so.”
“Next hour?”
“Yes Bette in an hour.”
“Uhm ok well I might be late.”
“Late huh?”
“Yeah Kit I’ll see you soon ok?”
“Tell Tina she should come too.”
“What? Why would I tell her?”
“ Oh please girl, she’s right next to you. Don’t even deny it.”
“Bye Kit see you soon.” She returns the phone to the night stand and turns her attention to Tina.
“So the girls want to have brunch in an hour. Kit knows you’re here”
“How did she know?”
“I don’t know, I tried to get out of it though.”
“I heard obviously without much success.” Tina smiles and presses her lips to Bette’s for a gentle kiss. She suddenly grabs Bette and begins to tickle her.
“TINA… TINA…. STOP…” Tina continues her attack amused by Bette’s lack of control. Her laughter is infectious. “Seriously Tee… please… stop.” She struggles and ends up slipping away from Tina’s hands. Tina pouts at the distance that is now between them. She slithers her way towards Bette, who is close to falling off the bed.
“No tickling. I promise.” Tina says softly lust filling her eyes.
“Okay.” Bette moves closer allowing her hands to roam Tina’s body. “So should we go to brunch?”
“Do we have to? I’d much rather stay here.” She kisses Bette once more her tongue caressing Bette’s supple lips.
“Oh really? What would we do here?” Bette exhales after their kiss is broken.
“Oh I could think of a few things.” Tina goes in for another kiss.

It’s so nice to see Bette and Tina loving one another. S6 doesn’t give us much of that!
Bette and Tina are smart, they need time and a lot of talking. Bette is in this for th long haul.Poor Tina wanted a U-Haul. Alice can be funny some times
Beautiful chapter. You make us see their feelings by some little events and gestures. Not much, but really sweet and meaningful.If you think you have to end this story with the next chapter, go for it. I’m sure you have a nice closure in mind. But maybe you could think about a sequel. I’d follow you into that one.

I hope that this story remains for a while. I love how close Bette and Tina are and how serious they are about taking it slowly. They are willing to work separately and together to regain their lives.
Great chapter girl. So full of emotion and love, and I cracked up at the line Kit said “She’s standing right next to you – Please don’t deny it” you capture their love and so well!-Can’t wait for more! PPS xx
