    Chapter 12

    Bette and Tina had a romantic morning in DC and boarded their afternoon flight to LA. They are thankful to have gotten first class seats as both used the time to do a bit of work and then nap. Bette woke first about 30 minutes before landing. She smiled at the innocence of a sleeping Tina and let her be while she relished the few moments alone to take in all that has happened in the last 48 hours. She decided she did want to be a mother again. They have been given a gift from Marcus. Time will tell when they can start this new chapter in their lives. She thinks about whether they’ll need a bigger house or ways to expand this one to accommodate their growing family. Once again she glanced at Tina and smiled; my family. She decided to wake Tina as they would be landing soon.

    Bette: T, time to wake up; we’re almost back to LA.

    Tina: Hmm, are we there already?

    Bette: Just about. Hey how did you get to the airport?

    Tina:  Oh I had Alice drop me off since I knew you car was here already.

    Bette: Good we can head right to the lot then. I so love roller bags and no checked baggage.

    Tina: Well, when we’re carting two kids we’ll be grateful to check bags and we’ll be sitting in coach. Tina grins at the thought.

    Bette:  You know, maybe we should consider taking Angelica on a flight before the baby comes. It will be easier on all of us to have her first flight be all about her.

    Tina: Well I’m up for that we just have to find the time and pick a place. Let’s not stay in California; we’ll save that for our driving trips. I loved our San Diego and Disneyland vacation.

    Bette: I loved it too; you did a great job with the plans. Why don’t I leave it to you again?

    Tina: I loved planning it, but you’ve always done so well with these things too.

    Bette: Well our little girl has opinions of her own so let’s do it as a family thing.

    Tina: I can live with that.

    The plane lands and the passengers bounce up to unload the overhead compartments and stand in the aisle waiting for the door to open.

    1. Loved this story, lwsho. They are a great family together especially when Bette can relax and let the love happen. Having another child will be wonderful for them and it will also help Angie, although she is almost too grown now, with her take charge personality. It is not necessarily in the genes, it is also the environment that shapes up into the people we become. If hr mother’s are anything to judge by she will be quite a young lady, beautiful, smart, loving and one hell of an alpha. Won’t she. This is fun and I enjoy it, although for some reason I smell trouble in the air. Tell me I’m wrong. If not, plese don’t let it be too serious. Happy New Year. Post when you can.

    2. lwshow2005, I LOVE ANGIE!!! I had some time after dinner to settle myself in front of the fire as it snows at the moment, and read this very generous post. I enjoy reading good fics that have Angie in them. They are usually written with such fun, love, and a lightness which can be very easy to indulge in. Can’t wait for baby #2!!!!!! :- )))) Happy New Year and can’t wait for the next chappy. Oh and btw, good selection for a movie.

    9. lwsho2005. i have been reading this story from the beginning, and i love it. Angie is DO flippin cute I can’t stand it! I wonder how she’ll react to not being the only child … hmmm. looking forward to the next chappy! Happy new year

    12. Dimples, thanks for reading and replying. I’ve been bumped off course and not sure if I’ll resume writing this one. At some point I may wrap it up with another chapter, but my author days may be over; kind of in a Fan Fic funk at the moment.
