    Keeping the party going.

    Outside in the car.

    Tina: Baby, just one more kiss before we go inside, OK?

    Bette: I can live with that. Tina leans in and begins a very sensual kiss with Bette.

    Tina: I love you baby, now let’s go get our baby. Bring in your award; you know Kit will want to see it.

    Bette: Seems a bit uncool to be carrying an award down the street in West Hollywood.

    Tina: with a raised eyebrow. Think about that last word, Hollywood. This may be the one place it would be very normal to do such a thing! Both women laugh and head down the street hand in hand as Bette cradles the award in her left hand.

    Tina: Demonstratively, After you my dear as she holds the door for Bette. Bette smiles, nods and heads into the Planet.

    A chorus: Congratulations Bette!   Bette is blown away by the greeting. She grins stupidly as she falls back into Tina’s embrace.

    Tina: Gotcha babe. Knocked on your heels for a third time this week, huh.  Bette just turns her head and grins at Tina.

    Bette: I’ll take all those knocks anytime. Where is my Boo?

    Angelica: From Kit’s grasp. I’m right here Momma. Do you like my new dress for the party?

    Bette: Scoops up her little girl.  I love your new dress it’s beautiful and you look very pretty. I like your shoes and hair too. You’re going to dance with me tonight, right?

    Angelica: Yes, I can dance with you. I’m proud of you Momma. You did really good and got an award. Can I hold it?

    Bette: Well let’s sit down at table and I’ll show it to you. We’ll put it in Aunt Kit’s office later so it doesn’t get lost or broken before we leave, Ok?

    Angelica: That’s a good idea. Aunt Alice broke two glasses today.

    Alice:  PJ, I don’t think your Momma wants to hear about that let’s just have fun at the party. I promise to be careful and not break anymore glasses, OK?

    Bette: Hey Al, we just want you to be safe. Hugs her Alice, Shane and finally Kit.

    Kit: I am so proud of you baby girl. Sorry I couldn’t be there, but you know I wouldn’t let this milestone go without celebration, right?

    1. Loved this story, lwsho. They are a great family together especially when Bette can relax and let the love happen. Having another child will be wonderful for them and it will also help Angie, although she is almost too grown now, with her take charge personality. It is not necessarily in the genes, it is also the environment that shapes up into the people we become. If hr mother’s are anything to judge by she will be quite a young lady, beautiful, smart, loving and one hell of an alpha. Won’t she. This is fun and I enjoy it, although for some reason I smell trouble in the air. Tell me I’m wrong. If not, plese don’t let it be too serious. Happy New Year. Post when you can.

    2. lwshow2005, I LOVE ANGIE!!! I had some time after dinner to settle myself in front of the fire as it snows at the moment, and read this very generous post. I enjoy reading good fics that have Angie in them. They are usually written with such fun, love, and a lightness which can be very easy to indulge in. Can’t wait for baby #2!!!!!! :- )))) Happy New Year and can’t wait for the next chappy. Oh and btw, good selection for a movie.

    12. Dimples, thanks for reading and replying. I’ve been bumped off course and not sure if I’ll resume writing this one. At some point I may wrap it up with another chapter, but my author days may be over; kind of in a Fan Fic funk at the moment.
