Tina stood there, staring at Bette. She was laid across the bed on her stomach with her arms stretched out. The sheet was wrapped around one leg. Her hair was everywhere.
As the tears fell from her eyes, Tina thought how could she? How could Bette make love to her one minute and sleep with Bruce the next? What kind of bullshit was that? That can’t be love.
Tina had a feeling that something had happened just by the way Bruce had looked at her earlier as she was coming in and he was going out. But this was the last thing she had expected to see.
Tina was standing there, hoping that this was some sort of nightmare and eventually she would wake up. Was this love thing just one-sided?
Was Bette really in love with her husband? Tina remembered when she and Bette first saw each other.
The time it took Tina to realize she was feeling Bette: one hour.
The time it took debating whether she should do something about it: two hours.
The time it took to work up the nerve to touch Bette intimately: three hours.
The time it took to get her heart rate back to normal after touching her: NEVER!
Tina couldn’t think clearly. Looking at her love and remembering Bruce’s smile were threatening to unravel her to her very core. Her heart rate soared from hurt to anger.
As she turned to leave, she heard Bette call her. Tina paused. Something was very wrong here. Bette’s body looked wrapped in heavenly bliss, but her voice….something about her voice.
The sound of Bette voice was that of a person crying…yes, crying for help. She needed help all right, Tina thought.
Still, Tina felt played. She felt used, and she was going to give Bette a piece of her mind. But when she had fully turned towards Bette, she noticed that Bette was struggling so hard to get up.
Bette barely heard Tina speaking. Tina sounded so far away. But she could sense her and smell her presence. Bette didn’t recognize the feeling her body was feeling right now.
She couldn’t remember anything about last night after having that one drink. Her body felt heavy, but her sexual desire was still heightened. Why?
She felt as though her body had been fucked all night. She thought to herself….that’s impossible, it couldn’t….didn’t…..happen.
She knew she didn’t have much to drink, yet she didn’t know why she was feeling like she did. Why was she seeing images of Bruce on top of her? Why was she seeing Bruce between her legs? No…he wouldn’t dare…would he?
She slowly grabbed the sheet and tried to pull it up to cover herself as she tried to sit up. Her breasts were sore and her vaginal area was wet.
When she was able to focus she looked at Tina. She could see that she was crying.
Bette: (sluggishly) Wh….Wha….What the fuck….. (her head collapsing backwards towards the pillow)…..is going on?

That a lawyer doesn’t have any remorse over raping someone explains the current state of our judicial system. Bette should file charges. If that pig knocked her up that way, I think Bette should consider an abortion.

Tina has got to see that something is wrong here…..i hope she can see Bette’s pain and gets her to a doctor and hello…..morning after pill; Bette can’t be pregnant! And the Tina and Bette both need to go after Bruce. That 3 month deal is so over now that Bruce violated Bette in such a horrible way. I’m kind of hoping that Cheryl and Bruce both kill each other. Post soon.

Suc, Another wonderful chapter nailed there. Interesting to see all the storylines weave together. All of the unspoken desires and temptations that are felt by these characters. My heart did bleed as Tina and Bette realized the realities and harshness of loving someone completely. I do hope that Tina will give Bette the space and chance to tell her the truth or as much of it as she can remember. Difficult position as Bette can;t go to the cops and admit that her husband raped her. As for Shane and Carmen, sweet to see the attraction is there. These two will get together soon, fate demands it. Shame about Helena and Mark as they both long for the unattainable. Cheryl and Bruce deserve one another and a long prison sentence. And typical that Alice is on the trail of the truth between Bette and Tina. You are the mistress, Suc and I enjoy reading how you jerk the strings of your puppets.
