“I liked being single I liked the freedom. ”
“The ladies?”
“The ladies, so who are you leaving me for?” Eric asked.
“Bette” Tina answered.
“Bette?” Eric asked “Are you a?”
“I love her” Tina said, it came out so naturally.
“You… was it me? Did I drove you to…”
“It was her” Tina smiled.
“I can’t believe Dylan…”
“Nothing changed” Tina said.
“It should bother me more, shouldn’t it?” Eric asked.
“I think we were over a long time ago Eric.” Tina said sitting down.
“It feels too easy… too smooth are we taking the easy road out?”
“If it was easy we would have done it a long time ago”
“So now what?”
“We make it legal and I… I’ll hope Bette will take me back”
“You’re not sure if she will?”
Tina shook her head.
“Then why risk a good thing?” Eric asked needing convincing.
“Because everything is better than living a lie.”
Tina walked in the gym looking for Bette. “Tina haven’t seen you around lately” Jill smiled.
“Hi is Bette around?”
“Wow you really weren’t here for a while. Bette quit.” Jill answered.
“Oh. Ok I’ll just go to her house.”
“She… she moved Tina.” Jill said.
“In one week??” Tina exclaimed “How…”
“I don’t know she was really determent to get away soon.”
“Were did she go?” Tina asked.
“She… she asked me not to tell anyone. Especially you.” Jill sadly said.
“Oh” Tina said feeling her world stopping.
“But… you know she should come tomorrow to take her last paycheck and if you’re happen to be here…”
“No. She doesn’t want to see me” Tina said fighting tears. “Could you give her a letter?”
“Sure” Jill smiled.
Tina nodded taking a page and started writing.
“Hello there” Jill smiled “Who ran you over?”

“You’re my happy ending” has got to be the best line! I’m sad to see this story end, but it was a great way to end. I’m glad that things went easily with Eric. Who needs a big mess! Thanks for making my day better and for posting this wonderful story!
Great finish. Its not an easy end, it also is a possible ending in real life. It was an oportunity for Eric to get out of his marriage and daddy’s role. They all are gaining in this. Eric has got his freedom back without a child he didn’t want in the first place and Tina can have her family life with the one she loves and who loves her son as her own, so bless them.Thank you for sharing ths story with us.
