    Bette smiled “Yeah… I’m having a few hard days”

     

    “I’m sure. Here’s your paycheck and there’s a letter for you there. From a certain blonde”

     

    Bette felt her heart beats faster, “Oh?” She tried to stay cool.

     

    Jill smirked “Yeah, well if you ever need a job… “

     

    “Thanks” Bette said leaving looking at the letter as if something will jump out of it.

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Bette was in her boat looking at the letter. “I don’t care” She said not looking at the letter.

     

    “I don’t” She repeated then sighed, “Well its here.” She opened it.

    If someone would of told me years ago I would meet you, I would have waited. If someone’s worth waiting for you are.

    I still remember the first time I saw you in the gym, you were the most beautiful woman I’ve ever met. I was instantly drawn to you, I told myself it’s because I want to look like you not be with you. After the first month I hated you for being so perfect, I’ve never met anyone who was so nice. You made me feel good about myself again.

    When I look back you gave me so much you brought back my self confidence you made me laugh which made me realize I didn’t have enough laughter in my life. And that was even before we got involved.

    I wish I would have waited for you and not compromised. I wish I were able to make you happy, I wish I could see your smile again kiss your lips. I wish for so many things to have gone differently. I wished I answered back when you said ‘I love you…’

    I can’t change those things, I can only change the future and I am. Eric and I are getting a divorce. It took me a week to start talking after we separated and you were right. You’re always right. It is much better than living a lie.

    I know it’s a little late and I know you’ve been hurt. And it kills me, the only reason I was not there were your words ‘Can’t you see how much you’re hurting me?’ they’re haunting me. The last thing I want to do is hurt you, so I stayed away.

    7. “You’re my happy ending” has got to be the best line! I’m sad to see this story end, but it was a great way to end. I’m glad that things went easily with Eric. Who needs a big mess! Thanks for making my day better and for posting this wonderful story!

    8. Great finish. Its not an easy end, it also is a possible ending in real life. It was an oportunity for Eric to get out of his marriage and daddy’s role. They all are gaining in this. Eric has got his freedom back without a child he didn’t want in the first place and Tina can have her family life with the one she loves and who loves her son as her own, so bless them.Thank you for sharing ths story with us.
