    The show opens and guess what happens…

     

    Tina heard her come in and didn’t move a muscle… she knew Bette liked to watch her sleep and it relaxed her… but after a while she starts to stir… Bette reaches over and tucks some strap hairs behind her ear…

     

    Tina:  I had this feeling you were watching me…

     

    Bette:  I know you knew… but I still enjoyed it… so how was your day…

     

    Tina:  (Sitting up)  It was busy this morning… we worked on every thing that need to get done and before we knew it, it was after 12… we had lunch… oh and I asked Jill about Lamaze and what she thought of it…

     

    Bette:  Did they also go through with it…

     

    Tina:  Yes… and she said it helped and when it didn’t help she wanted to rip Jim’s head off… (Smiling)

     

    Bette:  Nice… something else to look forward to…

     

    Tina:  Then before we knew it she was going through my exercises with me…  It was very helpful doing them with someone who just went through it… well not that long ago anyway… she made a few suggestions which I will show you later when we go over the exercises…
     
    Bette listened… and then stood up and started to remove her jacket and walked toward to bedroom… I remained sitting… not thinking about much… but then it hit me… what the FUCK did I say… thinking… OMG…
     
    Tina:  Babe… hey where did you go…
     
    Bette:  I’m right here… just changing… I’ll be right out… go back and relax on the couch… and pick out what you want for dinner…
     
    Tina:  (Taking hold of her arms)… babe listen to me… first I am sorry… it came out all wrong…
     
    Bette:  Tina its fine… maybe Jill can come into the delivery room… after all we want what’s best for you and the baby… and if she is better qualified…
     
    Tina:  NO… I only want you in there with me… and of course Dr Wilson… babe please I’m sorry… it just came out all wrong… Jill would never want to take your place… and I don’t want anyone to take your place… babe I only want you in there with me… we are in this together…
     
    Bette:  We are… aren’t we… and baby believe me I only want to be in there with you too… well maybe your mom… I think we might need her… if you’re ok with her…
     
    Tina:  (Kissing her) I think we should ask mom too… I know she would love it and maybe Kit and Lisa…
     
    Bette:  I did think about Kit and Lisa… we could ask them… but not Alice… don’t get me wrong… I love her to death… but she is not going to be looking up your… well you know…
     
    Tina:  (Laughing)… Not a problem babe… I think Alice would write a story on the “Top Ten” of giving birth… or she would pass out…
     
    Bette:  I hope I don’t pass out…
     
    Tina:  I have no worries… you will be there for me and help me welcome our baby into this world… I love you…
     
    Bette:  I Love you too…

    2. First how could any of us forget a great writer such as yourself.I always miss this story when there are no posts for a while, I am glad Tina made it through the night. Ahe took a big risk any pregnancy is unpredictable the baby may come slow or very fast. They need to call Dr. Wilson so she can get there and birth that baby. Hope to read more soon.

    5. welcome back. Totally understand and sympathize about the work thing; its a sad necessity. wish I had such a caring spouse when I was pregnant. as always a great chappie as we follow their lives. post when u can.

    6. I love what Tina said when her water broke, “Happy Birthday”. She was lucky that so many people are right there for her. Pretty soon Bette and Tina are going to have a baby in their mist.

    9. I had an ideal you were working to hard. In todays world,you need to work when you need to. Love this the baby on the way,and Bette seems pretty calm. Tina is always thinking of others. Glad that Tina mom is there to help Poor Bette. Post when you can. Its a busy bust world out there. thanks
