Bette woke up and slipped out of bed… very quietly… took her shower and was getting ready for work…
Tina: Hey you… good morning…
Bette: Hi… leaning in for a kiss… good morning…
Tina: Hmmmm… you smell very nice…
Bette: Thanks… but I really need to get to work… the show opens Friday night… I promise come Saturday… I may be taking vacation leading up to the birth of the baby…
Tina: that would be so nice…
Bette: Now you stay in bed and relax… call me later…
Tina: I will…
As Bette was leaving she again went back into their bedroom… Tina was on her side and looked like she was in pain…
Bette: Tee…
Tina: I’m fine babe… I think I’m hungry… don’t worry… I’ll call you first…
Bette: Well that you better do… ok I’m leaving…

Bette calling up Linda… Hi mom… no Tina is not in labor… yes everything is fine… well if you let me get a word in here… yes mom I know you love us… I just left Tina in bed… and well she didn’t look good… she said she was hungry… Mom… I have to go to work this week… you know my show opens on Friday… thanks mom… see you when I get home…
Ok… now I feel better… but I do need someone to go stay with her until mom gets their… hmmmm…
Bette: Hi Jill… I need a favor…
Ok… now I really feel better… this week better just fly by…

Tina: Hey you… I thought you weren’t coming by today…
Jill: I don’t feel like working… from the office at least… this way I can work at my leisure…
Tina: Sounds like a plan to me… come on in…
The morning went by and Jill and Tina were having a ball just talking and watching talk shows…
Tina: I could just see Alice on one of these shows…
Jill: The rating’s would go up… and the show would get kicked off the air for just about everything…
They both laughed and agreed… then the front door opened and Linda came in…

See, there you go again with the did we miss you! Hell yes! Great post as usual but to leave us on such a cliffy. You are a bad, bad woman.
First how could any of us forget a great writer such as yourself.I always miss this story when there are no posts for a while, I am glad Tina made it through the night. Ahe took a big risk any pregnancy is unpredictable the baby may come slow or very fast. They need to call Dr. Wilson so she can get there and birth that baby. Hope to read more soon.

welcome back. Totally understand and sympathize about the work thing; its a sad necessity. wish I had such a caring spouse when I was pregnant. as always a great chappie as we follow their lives. post when u can.
I love what Tina said when her water broke, “Happy Birthday”. She was lucky that so many people are right there for her. Pretty soon Bette and Tina are going to have a baby in their mist.

I had an ideal you were working to hard. In todays world,you need to work when you need to. Love this the baby on the way,and Bette seems pretty calm. Tina is always thinking of others. Glad that Tina mom is there to help Poor Bette. Post when you can. Its a busy bust world out there. thanks
