    “You know it’s ironic that Helena Peabody would be the one to coin that phrase considering her knack for causing chaos in everything she touches. But this time I can’t blame her entirely for creating the chaos in our relationship, though she did contribute to it when she moved in on you and went after me.”

    “Bette, what are you talking about?”

    “I’m talking about ‘our chaos’ Tina. The acrimony between us … the inability to communicate … the way we purposely hurt one another … our distancing … our infidelities … the disrespect … the spite … all the destructive behaviors … everything that went wrong in our marriage. We started in chaos and went from one chaotic situation to another.”

    “I know things went wrong but how can you say we started in chaos?” Tina recollection was of blissful times in the beginning.

    “We started the chaos when we betrayed Eric’s trust with that first kiss. We’ve been on a destructive coarse ever since. We started in chaos with infidelity and we ended in chaos with infidelity.”

    “So you think whatever went wrong between us points to underlying chaos and that our first kiss started it?”

    “Yes.”

    “I don’t see it that way. Yes we betrayed Eric by starting an affair before I ended it with him but that kiss was the defining moment that changed my life. It was my awakening to a part of my sexuality that I hadn’t explored before. I was confused by the feelings I had for you. I didn’t want to hurt Eric but it didn’t take me long to know that he wasn’t who I wanted to be with after I met you. Maybe for you it was chaos but for me it was probably one of the single most significant acts of my whole existence.”

    “I know how significant it was for you Tee. It was for me too. I’d never felt so irresistibly drawn to anyone else in my life, but that doesn’t change the fact that we shouldn’t have acted on our attraction before you ended it with Eric. I was just reading an article online called ‘Can Relationships That Start As Affairs Succeed’ by Susan Berger. I think she made some valid points that illustrate some of the pitfalls that we fell into in our relationship because of how it started.”

AN affair is not sustainable no matter how many years you are together bcuz over the years the doubts,mistrust and insecurities will surface,hence the phrase” what starts in chaos ends in chaos”.BETTE/TINA had an affair when TINA was with ERIC.To turn around and cheat with CANDACE after all she gave up to be with her,TINA did set out to destroy BETTE,she with the help of HELENA took everything away from BETTE but stopped short of denying her a place in ANGIE’s life.Now that they have weathered another step TINA needs to come clean and let the wounds bleed bcuz there will be feelings hurt,emotional pain and secrets uncovered that will test the strength of her and BETTE.But to go deep requires the ability to not pre-judge why it was done but can they move forward now that it has.BETTE wants a healthy and meaningful relationship with TINA getting there is one road TINA seems reluctant to traverse but she will .This is gonna get as raw and as real as it comes and i hope they’re ready for the words that they will hear come morning.GREAT UPDATE!!!

    3. This is really a very emotional rollercoaster for them and me. You can’t expect that they solve everything in a few days, but Bette is right, they need to peel off the bad infections from their skin, other wise it will be always there and resurface. And Paul can help them to make the first step and give them guidelines to continue to do that.

      I like the possibilty to start anew in their relationship.

      They both made major mistakes, in my opinion Tina more than Bette, yes Bette cheated, but Tina is not the innocent woman, with her passive-agressive behaviour. She was the one who pulled out mentally first and pushed Bette away. Her behaviour after Bette cheated and the way she acted after she met Helena, was just plain hurtful and set to destroy Bette, and Helena , God, she is a manipulitive bitch and still in their lives, due to Tina’s need for security.

      Tina must really think hard and deep if she really want to reconcile, i see to much hesitations on her part.
