Breathless Part 10
“Tsk tsk tsk what is the shit eating grin for Fairbanks?” Shane asked as she stirred her coffee. Her friend had been grinning from ear to ear since she joined her at the Planet.
“Her flight will be arriving at two Shane. I am just so happy that I got to meet her tomorrow morning.” Dana said still grinning from ear to ear.
“Great to hear. So what’s your plan?”
Dana looked up at her puzzled.
“What plan?”
“You know like telling her you like her and stuffs?”
“Oh god that one.” Dana put her face on her hands.
“I want to court her in a normal way Shane; you know the whole nine yards thing. But I don’t know how as the previous ones I met them for a day and just direct jumped to the bed that’s it. No effort needed at all.”
“I understand. The first time I told Carmen I liked her I was tongue tied. It was a shame considering my reputation in the player’s world.”
“That’s right. That’s what I mean. How do I make the first move?”
“Make the first move to whom?” Shane stood up and greeted her girlfriend. Carmen settled down at a seat beside Shane.
“Hey gorgeous what do you want?”
“Vanilla latte please.”
“Right away. Excuse me Dane, got to get my woman her coffee.” Shane said as she made her way to the counter.
“No problem man.”Dana said. She really envied her friend for being so in love. She wished she could call the editor her woman.
Carmen smiled at Shane and then brought her gaze to Dana.
“So Dane who is the lucky woman you want to make the first move for?”
Dana blushed. She looked down and fidgeted her hands.
“Erm she is the editor I met back in Wimbledon.”
“I see I see. So you have the plan already?”
“No not yet. I just don’t want to mess up this person is important to me. I can’t risk having her not talking to me after this.”
“So I guess our big famous lezzy tennis player likes this editor very much huh?” Carmen can’t help but to tease the tennis player.

So excited to see an update! Love what you did with Carmen here. She was a good friend and just what Dana needed. I feel a bit sorry for Dana that she didn’t know what being in love felt like.
