    Breathless Part 10

“Yes I do.” Dana admitted. Carmen was surprised at how comfortable Dana was to admit she liked the editor. Usually she would just shrugged and avoid the questions. The editor is really something and I can’t wait to meet her, Carmen thought.

“So Dana I think maybe I can help.”

    Dana eyes opened wide.

    “Really?”

    “Yes.”

Carmen chuckled when she received a goofy grin from her friend.

    “Thanks.”

“No problem. So tell me more about her and I’ll see how I can help.”

Dana described the blonde to Carmen and Shane joined them after a while. As Carmen taught the tennis player on the courting tactics Shane couldn’t help but to smile to herself. To her Carmen was really amazing. She thought she couldn’t love the DJ more.

“So you think fetching her from the airport a good idea?” Dana asked. She put her elbows onto the table and waited for the answer expectantly like a five year old child.

“Yeah and I think it’s sweet.” Carmen answered and Shane nodded in agreement.

“Oh god I am such a dork I should have thought of this.” Dana slumped onto the back of her seat grinning. “You know last night I was tossing and turning around thinking of how to last another day not seeing her. I miss her very much.”

Dana declared. But then something hit her. She wanted to ask the next question but scared that both her friends would laugh at her silliness. Of course Shane noticed the change she could read her friend like a book.

“What is it Dane? You know all you have to do is ask.”

“Yeah Dane every thing you say is save with us.” Carmen assured her.

“Hmm do you think it is normal to miss someone to that extend?” Dana asked shyly. She couldn’t bring her eyes to look at her friends.

Shane and Carmen looked at each other and smiled. Their friend could be so adorable sometimes.

“Yes Dane this is what you’d do when you are in love.” Carmen said. Dana looked up immediately.

    “You think I’m in love?”

“Yes Dane it’s so obvious. It’s written all over your face.” Shane added in.
