“It was great Kit. Tina and I really got a chance to talk and to work out our issues. We haven’t resolved everything but we’re in a good place.” She said confidently. She didn’t make any mention of Tina’s renewed interest in being a part of pregnancy though she was anxious to share it with Francesca. Especially the fact that Tina would be attending the next doctor’s visit to see the baby and that she wanted to be present at the birthing center. Although she and Helena had agreed to a truce Bette wasn’t comfortable having that conversation in front of her. There was still the trust issue. She would talk to Kit, Francesca and Peggy privately afterwards.

“Well I’m just glad you two came to your senses. Anyone can see that you belong together.” Kit said encouragingly.

“Thanks Kit. So tell me what’s been going on with you all for the past week or so? What have I missed?” Bette asked changing the subject.

“Marcus will be here next Sunday. He finished all the preparations for the tour early so we can spend a couple of weeks together before the baby is born.” Francesca announced excitedly.

“That’s great news Francesca. I can’t wait to see him. Did he say anything about the loft?” Bette was equally excited to see her good friend.

“Yes. He said he’s taken care of packing everything and putting what he needs in storage. Michael told him that your caretakers will handle everything else.”

“Yes they know what to do when the loft will be vacant for an extended period of time.” Bette didn’t worry about that.

“He also wanted me to thank you for letting him use the Saab. He promised it’s still in pristine condition.”

“It better be if he knows what’s good for him.” Bette joked liking the idea of having Marcus around for a while. It was obvious that it made Francesca happy which was most important.

“What’s going on with you Kit?” Bette turned to her sister.

“It’s all good baby sis. Angus and I have been in rehearsals all week. We’re planning to do a live performance of ‘Bareback’ at the Planet a week from Thursday. We thought we’d record it with a live audience for the CD. I want everyone to be there.”
