“Well that certainly will be less stressful but will it be fulfilling enough for her after being a high-powered movie executive?”

“It’s what she wants to do for now. For my part I will support her choices. We are well off financially so in reality she doesn’t need to work but she’s not the type to remain idle for long. I still have income from the gallery. Tina and I have made equal contributions to savings and our wise investments over the years have pretty much established our future financial security so money will never be a problem. Even if she decided not to work for a few years the compensation package that I’ve negotiated with the CAC will take care of us. If she wants to go back to work full time I would happily stay home with the kids. It’s a partnership we’re both committed to.”

“How many children are you two planning for?”

“We hope to have at least two maybe three. We’ll just have to see how things work out.”

“I love the idea of having a houseful of grand-kids. You know Helena has two children with her partner Winnie but I can’t wait to welcome your children into our family.”

“We’re really grateful to you Peggy. Considering both Tina and my parents are deceased it means a lot to us that our children will have you as a grand-parent.”

“Bette I love you and Tina very much. You are my daughter in every sense of the word. There is no way that I wouldn’t want to be a part of your children’s lives. You are my family. Although I’m taking this time for myself once I get back you won’t be able to drag me away. So can I expect a baby announcement in the next couple of months?”

“Tina doesn’t want to start trying until after she quits her job. Time wise, we’re looking at about three months or so to find a suitable donor.”
