(Helena) I might sit this one out Alice
She gestures towards Tina.
(Helena) I’m afraid Tina here doesn’t know me so well. And I don’t think a random fact about a stranger would be of much interest
Tina and Helena smile at each other.
(Alice shrugs) OK, well Porter then
They all look to Bette
(Bette) I’m going to sit this one out too
Alice rolls her eyes.
(Alice) Oh come on, just something silly
Tina gently moves her thumb over Bette’s leg where her hand is still placed, and smiles at her reassuringly.
(Tina) It’s OK baby, you don’t have to play
Tina looks back to Alice.
(Tina) Why don’t you go again Al?
(Alice smiles) Well, why don’t I tell you something you don’t know yet about Porter? That might be fun
(Tina) Al
Bette puts her drink down on the table and goes to stand.
(Bette) I’m going to the bathroom, fun game Al but how about we talk about something else when I get back?
Bette stands up and moves away and Tina watches her before turning back to Alice.
(Tina) Al, stop teasing her
Bette leaves the bathroom and walks down the hallway back to the main room of the club. As she exits the hallway and moves through the door she smiles as she feels an arm move around her waist and pull her close. A soft voice speaks into her ear.
(Naomi) Well hello
Bette is jolted out of the moment at the sound of the voice, and turns towards her as she takes a step back and out of her grasp.
(Bette) Naomi
Bette’s eyes immediately search for Tina across the room, and Naomi studies her for a moment, taken aback at her reaction.
(Naomi) Is it just me or do you not look particularly happy to see me?
Bette looks back at her.
(Bette) I’m sorry it’s just not a good time
Naomi continues looking at her.
(Naomi) With you cancelling our plans this week I didn’t expect I’d be seeing you at a club. Family emergency, wasn’t it?
(Bette) I really can’t talk right now, I’m sorry
Bette goes to move away and Naomi reaches out and holds her back.

Love jealous Tina, that could have been a potential disaster with Naomi coming on Bette and the group acting weird about it.
Helena could have something with the game, not that she and Tina dated.
I do wonder if Tina is really acting like she lost 15 years, i can’t put my finger on it why i think she knows more than she let on?
I agree with their friends they are acting like back in the way when everything was still good in their relationship. Hope Bette can control herself and doesn’t act on her feelings by taking Tina to bed and do more than kissing.

I have no idea where you have been, but thank you for surfacing. Your stories so far have been delicious. Tina is going to break Bette, and I cannot wait.
Ok I’m all caught up now. I still like the interaction between Bette and Tina. Bette needs to stay the course and not let her attraction for Tina to get the better of her. I’m glad Alice is staying out of it and letting them figure it out together. I hope Angie can get her head around what is happening to her mom and it’s not too weird for her. I would hope that Tina would not fake something like this, it would be so cruel to Bette. I would think so much less of her if she was that kind of person. I am so glad Bette’s friend had the good grace to not complicate things further by being possessive and causing a scene. I can’t wait to see what they get up to next. Post soon.
