    Alice has a sip of her drink as she watches on.

    (Alice) They are making it very fucking difficult though, carrying on like fucking teenagers

    (Shane) Al

    Alice raises her hands.

    (Alice) I’m not going to involve myself. I’m just saying it’s fucking difficult

    (Shane smiles) You’re doing a great job Al, I’m proud of you

    They all have a sip of their drinks and continue looking towards the bar.

    (Helena) It’s so strange to me to see them getting on. You’ve all made reference to this once great relationship, but I could never even imagine it

    They watch as Bette steps back from the bar and reaches for Tina’s hand, both smiling and unable to take their eyes from the other.

    (Helena) I can now though


    Bette and Tina approach the group and sit next to each other on a small couch opposite the others.

    (Tina smiles) Hey guys

    They all smile as they exchange greetings. Bette leans her arm along the back of the couch and smiles as Tina leans towards her, placing her hand on her stomach and speaking into her ear. Alice looks over at them.

    (Alice) Hey, you two. You spent all week together, you’re here to talk to us

    Bette rolls her eyes and Tina smiles and raises her hands.

    (Tina) OK Al, what do you want to talk about?

    (Alice shrugs) Fucking anything

    Tina smiles and shakes her head

    (Alice) Oh! I have an idea actually. I thought of this a couple of days ago and it might be fun

    They all look at her apprehensively.

    (Alice) How about we all think of something that happened in the last 15 years to tell Tina. Something that hasn’t come up yet

    As everyone considers this Bette shifts in her seat and Tina glances at her, placing a reassuring hand on her leg.

    (Tina) I don’t know Al, I haven’t really wanted to know a whole lot. It’s why I haven’t asked many questions, particularly about myself

    1. Love jealous Tina, that could have been a potential disaster with Naomi coming on Bette and the group acting weird about it.

      Helena could have something with the game, not that she and Tina dated.

      I do wonder if Tina is really acting like she lost 15 years, i can’t put my finger on it why i think she knows more than she let on?

      I agree with their friends they are acting like back in the way when everything was still good in their relationship. Hope Bette can control herself and doesn’t act on her feelings by taking Tina to bed and do more than kissing.

      Great chapter, love this story!

    2. I have no idea where you have been, but thank you for surfacing. Your stories so far have been delicious. Tina is going to break Bette, and I cannot wait.

    3. Ok I’m all caught up now. I still like the interaction between Bette and Tina. Bette needs to stay the course and not let her attraction for Tina to get the better of her. I’m glad Alice is staying out of it and letting them figure it out together. I hope Angie can get her head around what is happening to her mom and it’s not too weird for her. I would hope that Tina would not fake something like this, it would be so cruel to Bette. I would think so much less of her if she was that kind of person. I am so glad Bette’s friend had the good grace to not complicate things further by being possessive and causing a scene. I can’t wait to see what they get up to next. Post soon.
