    Bette recovered after several minutes and found that her fingers were still inside of Tina. And Tina was asleep and breathing her regular deep sleep rhythm. Bette then slowly removed her hand and licked of the moisture on her fingers. Bette smiled and looked for the sheet and covered them both and cuddled against Tina’s

    Bette recovered after several minutes and found that her fingers were still inside of Tina. And Tina was asleep and breathing her regular deep sleep rhythm. Bette then slowly removed her hand and licked of the moisture on her fingers. Bette smiled and looked for the sheet and covered them both and cuddled against Tina’s arm and upper chest. She smiled and fell asleep.

    Two hours later, Bette and Tina began to awaken. Tina was in need of the bathroom and Bette could feel her removing her body from under her head. Tina scampered off and Bette pulled Tina’s pillow to her face and fell back asleep.

    As Tina returned, she saw that Bette was settled back in and was not ready to get up. Tina decided to go ahead and shower and go down stairs and spend time with her guest. She leaned over and kissed Bette on her cheek and then headed for the shower. Tina felt good and was singing softly to herself as she lavished the soap over her body. She was thinking about Bette’s love making which had occurred just hours before. She was completely revitalized – a good night’s sleep, a wonderful sexual release and the company of the love of her life.

    She dressed in some cargo pants and one of her favorite blouses. She found her sneakers and put those on and then went over and kissed Bette one more time. Bette responded with a smile but never opened her eyes.

    Tina:  Bette, I’m going downstairs and start breakfast. You come on down whenever you get ready.

    Tina headed for the kitchen and found Kit, Mary and Margaret in the kitchen waiting for the coffee to finish brewing.

    Tina: Well, good morning, ladies.  Everyone okay this morning?

    Kit:  We are all very well. We were talking about the mattresses. They are so very comfortable. I am going to have to get me and Sonny a new one. Where did you get those?

    Tina: We went to some store here in Santa Monica and picked them out back in August. You were with us Mary. Do you remember the name of the store?

    Mary:  No.  I was just along for the ride.  But I do remember trying out a mattress or two.

    2. Thank you for all of these amazing chapters of Bette, Tina and the rest of the family. I like that the drama they experience is like ours, life’s hurdles and challenges. I love reading every chapter.
      I love your addition of Mary to the family along with Margaret. Hopefully, they will form a strong friendship with one another along with becoming travel buddies.
      This family works well as the participants approach it like a team. Everyone supports the others in whatever activity they are participating in.
      What I also appreciate is the relationships that Bette and Tina have created with one another, their children and the rest of the blood and extended family members. It’s wonderful bonds that they share with each other because they all work on communicating their needs and are concerned with the others needs and do check in with them.

    3. I have always believed that life was full of drama… just a matter of how you look at things. There is drama in being a parent and being a spouse and being a child. The most important thing in our lives is our relationship with others – with those we love in particular. When Bette and Tina decided to become parents, they did so for their benefit. To have joys of being a parent. But my Bette and Tina soon realized that becoming a parent was a sacred duty to help guide their children to a healthy productive happy adult. And the best way to do this was to have a healthy, happy relationship between the two of them. Yes, they made mistakes early in their life – no one is perfect. But they learned not to allow their screw ups of the past to over shadow their lives, but to learn from their mistakes and then move on and be the people they want to be. And with the help and love from each other, they are far better people than they ever could be separately.
