    (Tina) This is the boss vibe again? (Bette smiles) Maybe Tina smiles, taking a sharp intake of breath as Bette moves her hands to her thighs and continues kissing up her neck. (Tina) And you like that a lot do you? Bette raises her eyebrows and smiles, responding into her neck. (Bette) Very much Tina

    (Tina) This is the boss vibe again?

    (Bette smiles) Maybe

    Tina smiles, taking a sharp intake of breath as Bette moves her hands to her thighs and continues kissing up her neck.

    (Tina) And you like that a lot do you?

    Bette raises her eyebrows and smiles, responding into her neck.

    (Bette) Very much

    Tina bites her lip and smiles as she places her hands on Bette’s waist, turning them abruptly and pushing Bette’s back firmly up against the door. Bette raises her eyebrows and smiles back at her.

    (Bette) Though something tells me I’m about to like it a whole lot more

    Tina smiles as she takes a fistful of Bette’s shirt, stepping back and maintaining eye contact as she backs towards the bedroom.


    Later, they make their way back downstairs and prepare dinner together, and then settle on the couch over a bottle of wine. They sit closely alongside one another, Tina turned towards Bette with her legs tucked under and her arm resting along the back of the couch, and Bette leaning back with her hand casually placed on Tina’s thigh.

    (Tina) Can you believe it was only two weeks ago that we sat right here, and had the conversation that we had that night?

    Bette raises her eyebrows and smiles.

    (Bette) I can’t actually

    They smile at each other, and Tina reaches towards her and runs her fingers through Bette’s hair.

    (Tina) Do you think we should have a touching base, ”how are things going” conversation?

    Bette looks at her for a moment and then nods.

    (Bette) Maybe

    Tina nods. They look at each other for a moment and Tina then raises her eyebrows and smiles, and Bette smiles back at her.

    (Bette) I must say, you seem pretty relaxed about everything

    Tina gives a small laugh, and Bette smiles as she watches her.

    (Bette) What’s that about?

    Tina smiles and shrugs, reaching out for Bette’s hand.

    (Tina) I don’t know, I guess I do feel relaxed

    She focuses on their hands as she runs her fingertips gently across Bette’s fingers, and then looks to her.

    (Tina) I’ve wanted this for a long time

    They smile at each other.

    (Tina) I wanted it enough to put myself out there with you a year ago, when I was basically certain you would reject me
