    “Yeah you’re probably right.”

    “Of course I’m right. Do you want me to talk to her?”

    “No. Alice please let’s just keep this conversation between us. You know how Bette gets when you interfere. She hates that I confide in you so much.”

    “Fine I won’t say anything, but please TK don’t keep this bottled up. You’re supposed to be reducing stress in your life remember?”

    “I know. I’ll talk to her after …” Tina’s conversation is interrupted when her cell phone rings. It’s Bette calling to say she will be pulling up to the Planet within the next few minutes. She didn’t want to park so she asked Tina to meet her out front. Tina says goodbye to Alice; uses the ladies room and exits the Planet just as Bette pulls up in her electric blue sporty convertible Saab.

    Bette is gorgeous as ever in her Giorgio Armani sun glasses. Her long curly hair is wind-blown from driving with the top down and she’s dressed to kill in a navy blue pinstriped designer business suit. She’s sporting her 1,000 watt Porter smile as she greets Tina with a luscious kiss. Once Tina is settled in the passenger seat with her seat belt fastened Bette pulls into traffic. Bette is in a great mood. She had a successful meeting with her client and now she hopes they will have a successful insemination.

    “Ready baby?”

    “Let’s do it.” Tina says trying to show the same level of enthusiasm.

    Forty five minutes later Bette is talking animatedly to Michael on her Bluetooth as she drives to the doctor’s office. Tina is in the passenger seat lost in her own world with the precious cargo wedged between her legs to keep it warm. Supposedly once sperm has been ejaculated it survives longer if kept at body temperature.

    Tina lay on the examination table in Dr. Wilson’s office. As the doctor examined her, Bette stood close by holding her hand and smiling to reassure Tina. When Dr. Wilson concluded the exam she picked up the specimen cup containing Sean’s sperm.

    “OK I’m going to take a look at this and while I’m gone …” looking at Bette “remember how I told you that there is a fair amount of evidence that it’s more likely to take if she’s aroused.” The doctor winks and smiles at Bette before leaving them alone in the room.

Thank you so much for this quick update; this is a very nice chapter, the story gives a unique background of my favorite couple, with Bette and Tina, having a successful career and an old failed relationship between Bette and Jody, and full support of Peggy; although the difficulties of pregnancy looks like your version of the beginning of the first season, however, I see here that Tina is aware of all the emotional and financial strain on Bette, but some communication problems can also be seen among them, especially when both of them use Alice as an intermediary in some issues. I’ll be waiting for a new update, maybe is too much to ask for tomorrow, but hopefully it would be soon. Thanks again

    3. Hey Bat, so excited to see you posting this story again. Just love how you take some original dialogue out of the show and use it in your stories as well as fill in some gaps the show left. Don’t think it’s wise of Tina to always confide in Alice and for Bette to use Alice as a source to find out what Tina is dealing with. Tina can’t be sure that Alice is not going to tell anybody what she was told by Tina and Bette cannot count on Alice not mixing in some of her own interpretations of what Tina told her. Looking very much forward to your next post.

    5. Communication was always their problem. I understand Tina needs to vent, but she must talk to Bette and not to Alice, especially something so important about her abortion in the past.
