    Author Notes: A long Chapter
    Summary:
    Tina and Bette go to Toronto to close out Tina's apartment and move her things to Los Angeles.

    Bette:  Oh, my, my… look at you? Are you trying to seduce me with that almost hidden body of yours?

    Tina:  Maybe… Is it working?

    Bette:  Oh yeah… it’s working… You know I find you irresistible. And dressed like that, well, you have my full attention.

    Tina (in her most southern dialect): Why Bette, you act like I’m a scarlet woman trying to entice a sweet innocent young thing into my bed?

    Bette:  You may be a scarlet woman, or you may be as pure as the driven snow… I do not care, because you are the one I want.  There is no one I want to end up in bed with than with you.

    Tina:  Well, to quote Tallulah Bankhead:  Darling, I am as pure as the driven slush!

    Bette started laughing a big belly laugh:   Aren’t we all Babe… aren’t we all. Come here.

    They kissed passionately, then turned out the light and proceeded to the bed. Tina began removing Bette’s pajamas as she kissed her neck and chest. She ran her hands over her back and grabbed her butt and pulled her into a full body press as Bette was lowering Tina’s robe over her shoulders. Tina released Bette long enough and kiss her more passionately and allowed her arms to be freed of the confines of the robe. She then reached for Bette’s head to pull her into another searing kiss as Bette rubbed her back and pull their chest together. Bette then fell into the bed pulling Tina on top of her as she landed. Tina rubbed her bush into Bette’s pubic mound and could feel the wetness.

    Tina: You’re so wet Bette.

    Bette:  Oh, I thought that was you?

    Tina: Maybe… but let me check… Ooh… you are certainly wet and hot.

    Bette had gasped when Tina had put her fingers into her folds and had done a quick tour.

    Tina:  Perfect… now let me see if I can take you to the pearly gates.

    She was then kissing Bette and putting her hands through her hair and then she moved to her neck and licked her from her chest back to her chin and kissed her softly again. Bette was moaning softly, and her breathing was ragged, and she had taken advantage of Tina’s breast and was massaging them gently as Tina was now massaging Bette’s beast.

    1. What a surprising ending, Bette asking Tina to be her wife again.
      Is it to soon? if it feels right for both of them, time doesn’t matter.

      They have packed Tina’s stuff and are ready to move in a new direction, new jobs and looking for a new beach house.

      I actually am glad that you were surprised. Is it too soon? I guess it depends on how you feel about these two. Bette and Tina have taken the time to reestablish their relationship. They have a reasonable understanding of what happened to break them up. Tina made the effort to come back and did it voluntarily. They are both older, mature women who know who they, I believe know each other, as well as any two people can know each other. Life has it limits and sometimes, you have to accept that there are risks in every decision you make. Tina has displayed that she is willing to do whatever it takes to be with Angie, and she loves Bette.

      The choice to me for both of them is really rather simple. Take this opportunity to make a life together or say goodbye forever. If things do not turn out perfectly? Well, I guess that’s life. But in the eyes of my Bette and my Tina, it is better to have tried and lose than never to try at all.

    3. Well, well, well …. A marriage proposal!
      I can’t say I’m surprised.
      Tina really has several all ties with her past, with Carrie and with her job with Showtime. She set out to do this, she knew she wanted it, so made her plan and carried it through perfectly.

      All the time Bette was by her side, encouraging her but not pressing or pressuring her. Making sure this was really what Tina wanted.

      This more than NY I think was more probably more emotional for Tina, cos she now knows, everything is done and she just has to concentrate on her new life with Bette and Angie, her new job and looking for the perfect beach house for their future together.

      Angie and Shane are going to be blown away by this news ….. perfect timing, I think !!

    4. Most who have read this story have said they were surprised by the marriage proposal. I think that both Bette and Tina are somewhat surprised themselves. Not something Bette planned but felt that it was the right thing to do.

      These two women are a pair of equals in their relationship. They are the left and right arm of the couple. Will they never have problems? Doubtful. There will always be something which will rub one the wrong way. But they have a plan on how to work those bumps, stops and starts out. They now have sufficient information and commitment and love to go forward with A New Life.
