“See, Tina, I told you,” Alice interrupted excitedly. “Bette loves you, and only you. You should listen to me. I’ve been around the block a few times and I know what a true love looks like.”

Tina blushed and continued reading.

“But for now I wanted to tell how excited I am to be back with my family, with Christina. It’s all so familiar and so strange at the same time. You are probably wondering how my family reacted to my reappearance. I told them I had to stay away for a while to make sure I was no longer in any danger. I didn’t think they could handle the truth. But I told Christina, about the future, about you…I felt such a relief to be able to tell the truth to someone without worrying about repercussions. Not sure if she believed me or not but I had a good time reminiscing about my life in the future.

Alice sniffled as Tina paused again and said softly, “You are not alone, Tee. We are all here for you.”

“Absolutely,” Kit echoed her words. “Don’t you worry, baby girl. We all take care of each other until that selfish sister of mine will get her ass home.”

Tina giggled and carefully folded the letter she just finished. She looked at the pile in front of her and said excitedly, “We need more wine.”

“I wish I can stay but I have to be back in the city. Keep me updated, I want to know how it all ends.” Kit gave Tina a hug and smiled, “My sister loves you, Tina. She’s coming back. Let me know if you need anything.”
