Chapter XVIII – Empire State of Mind – Jules
Jules booked a table for them, requesting one of the secluded tables in the back of the restaurant, that overlooked Fifth Avenue and the Pulitzer fountain. All the arrangements had taken some time for her to work out, and by the time Jules was done with the last call, to the Bar, she saw that she’d only have 40 mins or so left to make it to the lobby of the hotel to meet Diane.
She hurried out of the dressing room, and quick-stepped towards Christine, who was standing next to the clothes rack. “Hi, Christine. I was wondering if I could borrow one of these wrap dresses? I won’t have time to get home, and change, and…”
Christine looked at her with a mischievous smile, “Hot date?”
“Uh huh.”
“And what do you give me in exchange for …”
“Well … think of it this way. I’ll be asking my partner tonight if she’d be willing for me to do this modeling …”
Christine cut in, “Then please go ahead, Jules.” Then she winked at her and said, “Do a good job with …”
“Christine,” Jules cut in, “I’m taking her to the Plaza. Spa treatment, dinner in the Champagne Bar. Deluxe room after. The works.”
Christine whistled, “Whew … you’re not kidding around when you romance, huh?”
Jules shook her head and winked.
“So keep the dress, please. And take a couple of sexy nighties, too, and I’ll throw in this new lingerie from a line that isn’t in the market, yet.”
“If she doesn’t say yes at the end of all that, I will quit my job.” Christine declared.
“Let’s not be hasty, Christine,” Jules responded, drily. But she gave Christine a hug after accepting the various items the petite blonde had thrown into a shopping bag. And then she hurried back to the dressing room to change into the wrap dress.

Dinner in The Champagne Bar
Diane was relaying the main points of what she’d discussed with Tyler that afternoon, “ … anyway Dad said Bette had been grilling him about what he or others in the firm knew about the gold market.”
Jules sliced a juicy piece from the porterhouse steak that she’d ordered. It had been grilled perfectly, and she’d been savoring every morsel of it. She felt a twinge of sadness upon seeing she’d nearly finished the whole steak already.

Thanks for the update….I feel the drama coming for Jules & Dianne.
Affair, assault which one I don’t know …… quite possible not either of
my scenarios, but I smell drama……
Enjoyed it. Thanks
I enjoy learning more about Jules and Diane. They are a nice addition to the Tibette story. I look forward to seeing more of these lovely ladies. And Krav Maga is totally hot! Who doesn’t love a beautiful woman who can kick ass?
I think it would be a good idea of Tom being the donor, with bette eggs, but with Tina carrying the child.
This was a good chapter as usual.
Thats not a bad idea Tom being a donor along with Bette’s egg and Tina is the surrogate. Problem is Tom a good guy??
If I am not mistaken, I read in the previous chapter that Bette and Tina did their homework in doing background checks on Tom, plus after meeting his family and having lunch with them I think solidify their decision.
Yes they did their background check. How is that they never found out about Tom’s family. Than for Bette to find out that Tom’s mother may have been an agent and a mathematical genius? Convienent for Bette to get those number deciphered.
I like the idea of Tom’s sperm and Bette’s egg with Tina being the birth mom. That way the kid will still be bi-racial, and also gets some good Bette genes in there!
Naysssssszzzzzz. ( Fistbumps all around.) thanks everyone.
Time to dance, I think.
