    Post-reception. Dinner and such.

     

    After gently moving Karen’s hand back to her own lap twice, Tina leaned in and let the other woman know that she felt a little uncomfortable.

     

    That drew a line that was respected, at least in terms of tactile behavior. Throughout much of dinner Tina found that Karen’s version of eye contact was as much with her décolletage as with her eyes. Again, this manifestation of attraction had its pluses and minuses.

     

    One the plus side was the growing feeling of desirability. Still, there was something tiring about feeling like her date wasn’t fully into the conversation, into getting to know Tina as a person.

     

    It was with no surprise, then, as they were exiting the door that Karen pushed herself against Tina and whispered, “You are beautiful.”

     

    Well, perhaps the words were a bit of a surprise. And, even with the circumstance, Tina felt that they were sincere. They did come with the continued need to touch. However, outside, in the darkness, perhaps that wasn’t so bad. Perhaps it was time to consider changes to boundaries given different circumstances.

    The ride home was mostly in quiet.

     

    While Karen drove, she also reached over to where Tina’s hand was resting. Karen’s finger traced over the back of the blonde’s hand.

     

    Tina let herself enjoy the reaction, the feeling of the light touch. She kept her hand in place and tried not to have expectations of what might happen when they returned to her loft.

    “Fucking Tina,” Bette exclaimed, throwing her jacket onto the bed.

     

    Jodi had trailed her into the room. “What?”

     

    “I said ‘Fucking Tina!’,” Bette repeated, in both voice and sign.

     

    Trying to make light of the situation, Jodi gave a smile. “Karen probably is.”

     

    Bette frowned, trying to put that thought out of her head. Undeterred, she continued her rant. “I can’t believe she came tonight.”

     

    “Maybe she hasn’t come…yet.”

     

    The attempts by Jodi to lighten the mood through innuendo were having the opposite affect on Bette.

     

    Not dissuaded by Bette’s ranting, Jodi took a different approach. She put her hands on Bette’s shoulders, pulling the taller woman’s back against her, kissing lightly at Bette’s neck.

     

    With her frustrations building, Bette surrendered, ceding control to her lover. Taking the available path to release.

    9. HEY Pseud, WOnderful to have you posting more or this torturous tale. Good to see Bette so riled up and jealous of Tina and Karen. Sad to read that she succumbed to Jodi’s advances. I did love Jodi’s vain attempts at humor. LMAO right now. AS for Tina, it was interesting to read how she reacted to Karen’s blatant advances. Not sure that Tina is as upa nd ready for this as she thinks she is. Bette and Tina just have such an integral understanding of one another, right down to how far to go in public. Please let them see the error of their ways and realize that them must be together. Can’t wait for your next post. Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.
