    “You can do this Bette.  And I’m here” You see what I mean.  She can be so encouraging and she always has my back “Ok….You’re right…Let’s go” I say and walk together stride for stride inside the building and I take a look around “Damn!…Carl and Diana went all out” Laura comments….and really she wasn’t

    “Damn!…Carl and Diana went all out” Laura comments….and really she wasn’t kidding.  Tina’s parent’s Carl and Diana Kennard are Forest Country Club elites.  Carl is a CEO of a big time financial firm and Diana of course was a stay a home Mom raising Tina and her older brother Ben.

    And speak of the devil here comes Ben walking towards us now

    “Hey Sweetie” he greets faux kissing each of my cheeks.  Yes Ben is gay and openly gay at that..just as I am.  We are very close and maybe more than Tina and I are at this moment.

    He quickly motions us to the side.  I’m intrigued as to what we are huddling up for.  He looks around as if he doesn’t want someone to notice we are congregating

    “Are you going to ever tell Tina?” He says and I look at him confusingly “Tell Tina what?”  I ask more confused now than a minute earlier

    He rolls his eyes……exaggeratedly I may add… “C’mon Bette I know you are in love with Tina”

    My sister giggles loudly and I turn to shush her

    “Ben how the hell did you know that?”

    Ben sighs “Sweetie it’s been evident since you were in high school. And my gaydar is impeccable”

    “Well if your gaydar is so impeccable then what about Tina?” I retort

    He shrugs.  “Honestly I can’t read her. …She never gives off the vibes”

    “So why should I confess my feelings for her just to get rejected and lose my best friend in the process who is engaged by the way” I say as Laura hits me with her hand and I see her pointing. My gaze follow the direction her finger is pointing and it lands on my best friend—Tina Kennard

    Tina’s POV

    Now what on earth are these three in the corner conspiring about.  But it’s oddly cute.  And Bette…She looks stunning in her lavender sleeveless floor length gown.  Not a beautiful black curl out of place that rests slightly past her shoulders.  I’m so surprised that she didn’t bring a date.  I told her to being someone and I guess her and Laura decided to come together.  But those two conspiring with my brother.  Well let’s just say…Can’t be good…But I’m gonna let it go for now

      • I completely understand that Bibi. There are a lot of unfinished stories on here and I’m sure the authors never intend to leave them unfinished as I have done this as well but since I couldn’t get into my other account for a long time I wanted to finish them but decided not too and refocused on new stories so this is where I am at… So if you don’t want to invest your time I completely understand but I do hope you follow.

        • I strongly agree with Bibi. So many good stories have had untimely deaths which have left me and others extremely disappointed. I know about writers block but if the writer can’t finish the story perhaps it should be deleted. They’re no different than the cliffhanger that Marja left us on the show. I am hesitant to invest myself in a story that leaves me at a precipice. I won’t name them but I don’t understand why the writers start a new story but do not finish the story that have already put out here.. it boggles my mind. Strange thing is that they put “tbc” at the end of a chapter but it never happens. All I want is closure in one form or another. Thank you for hearing me out.

          • Jane I completely agree with you. As readers it is frustrating and as far as authors lives can happen but yes if I story does not intend to be completed then it should be taken down as not to give the reader hope it will be continued.

            I guess I can only say as an author I want to complete the two stories I have going. And it is my goal to do that. I did not finish my others and took them off because it was hard to put my head back to them and I did delete them. I do not intend to bring those back.

            Thank you for your comment and expressing your feelings on the matter. Hopefully you will read mine once they are complete. And that goes for anyone that wants to wait until they see a final chapter. I have no problem with that….But I also welcome feedback if you would like to contribute
