Chapter 4

Bette and Tina looked into each others eyes. Tina was the first to speak. “This is it babe… our first Christmas morning together.”

“I know… I don’t know who’s more excited them or me!”

“We need to do something special for Kit… we wouldn’t have this time this morning with out her.”

“I know… I still can’t believe she has them all over in her apartment right now.. just so our Christmas can be perfect.”

“She was right though.. it’s the best way to make sure we get our time with the kids, and that they are all over here later. Together.”

“Speaking of I hear them in the hall.”

“I know… we should let them think they are waking us up.” Bette smiled and they closed their eye.. just as little hands were opening their bedroom door. They were having a hard time containing their giggles as the kids crawled up on the bed with them… looking at them to see if they were asleep. Colin was the first to speak…

“Momma…. Momma wake up… it’s Christmas.. and Santa came.” He said as he gently stroked her hair.

Next it was Skyler with Bette.

“Mommy… mommy please wake up.. its Christmas… we have presents to open… so do you.”

Next it was Gavin’s turn, and he was far less gentle and not at all interested in presents. He was hungry and let the world know it.

Bette and Tina slowly opened their eyes… and big smiles graced their faces as they saw the looks in the eyes of their children.

Tina looked to Bette… “Sounds like someone is hungry.”

“You go first T… I’ll get him when your done.” Tina smiled a huge Kennard smile. It was sinking in to her.. what happened last night wasn’t a fluke. His cries were having their effect on her body, and Bette was telling her to get him. Yes this was really happening, and Tina couldn’t have been happier.

“I’ll go get him.. and meet you guys in the living room.”

“Sounds great.”

Tina went to go get their baby boy. Before leaving the nursery she grabbed a light blanket. She wanted to feed their son bare chested, but she didn’t know how the other kids would deal with seeing her nursing their brother. This morning was not the time for the explanation to them. Tina walked into the living room and sat on the couch. She threw the blanket over her shoulder before unbuttoning her PJ top and releasing her breast. She held Gavin close and he quickly latched on to Tina. Bette watched Tina feed their son as the other kids were bust sorting out the presents. It didn’t take long for Gavin to take all that Tina had to offer she changed sides and he didn’t miss a beat quickly latching on and draining every drop of Tina’s milk.
