“Bette” Tina didn’t need to say any more.. Bette turned to her and gently took their son, as she opened her shirt. She held him close to her bare breast and he went to town. She tried to pay attention to how long he nursed from her, so she could gage how much milk Tina really was producing. It took her by surprise when he released her, before she had even moved over to the other side. She tried to change sides with him, but he was done. Bette wanted to say something to Tina.. but she decided it was best to wait until after the presents were opened.
“Ok Momma… and Mommy.. here are your piles” Colin said as he and Hailey pushed their piles of presents over to each of them.
Skyler couldn’t wait. “Momma can we start opening them now… PLLLEEAAASSEE!?”
Bette put a very happy Gavin in his swing next to the couch.
“Well T… how bout we get this party started!”
“Alright get to it kids!” Tina said with a big smile.
It didn’t take long for paper to start flying all over the living room, as the kids tore into their presents.
“Wow…Momma look what Santa brought me!”
“COOL!!! A Telescope!”
“Mommy look… it’s art supplies!”
The cheers, excited squeals, and flying paper continued for nearly an hour before both Bette and Tina were both tackled with hugs and thank yous from the kids. Bette had just enough time to disappear into the nursery and pump before the gang all arrived for round two of the presents. Tina smiled to Bette knowing what she was headed to do. She secretly wanted to know how much she was able to pump. She wanted to know if she was really producing enough milk to do Gavin any good or if it was more for her than him.
“Alright guys… let’s get this paper cleaned up… then you can play with your new toys until your Aunties get here.” it worked like a charm. The kids had every stitch of wrapping paper picked up in no time at all, and before she knew it she was sitting in the living room alone with Gavin. She picked him up and held him close.
