The knocking persisted.

“Go destroy it, honey.”  Alice said softly while giving Dana kisses on her jaw line.

Dana gave her a soft smile and said “Anything for you, baby.”  She got out of bed and dug around the various pieces of clothing on the floor to find something to cover herself.  Alice quite enjoyed the show.  Once Dana was dressed she came back over to the bed. 

“I’ll be right back, honey.”  Dana said and gave Alice a soft kiss on the lips.  “I love you.”  Then she turned and left the room.  Alice smiled and curled back under the covers to wait for her love.

Dana was back in minutes.  At first Alice could not see her because she was obscured by the enormous basket she was carrying.

“Wow.  I’m glad I made you answer.”  Alice said when Dana placed it on the ground near the bed.  “That thing must weigh a ton!”  Dana smiled and flexed her arm muscles.  Alice’s mouth went dry and she forgot the basket for a moment as she thought of licking every inch of those sculpted arms.

Then she smelled something wonderful coming from the basket and her stomach growled.

Dana leaned over and placed a kiss on her stomach.  “Hungry, much?”

“My woman has kept me busy.”  Alice said as she pulled Dana into a proper kiss.  “Welcome back.”  Dana smiled her goofy smile.

“There’s a note.  Do you want to do the honors?”  She handed the envelope over to Alice who opened it quickly.

The note was simple:

Al/Dane –

We were concerned you might die of starvation.  Give us a shout when you come up for air.

Kit, Bette, Tina, Shane and Carmen

Both Alice and Dana broke out laughing as they dug into the basket.  Kit had apparently packed up everything on the menu.  There were notes on most of the items in the different girl’s handwriting:  “Today:  Lunch”, “Today: Dinner”, “Today:  High-Protein/High-Energy Nighttime Snack”, “Tomorrow: Breakfast (put in fridge)”, “Tomorrow:  Lunch (fridge and microwave on high for 2 minutes)”, and on and on.  By the time the girls got to the bottom of the basket, they had meals for 3 days — more if you included the likely leftovers.  In addition there was bottled water, Planet coffee beans, a couple bottles of champagne, some spray cans of whipped cream (when they saw that, the girls looked at each other and said “Shane!”), and numerous other snacks, sweets and goodies.  There were even napkins, paper plates and plastic utensils.

“Wow.” Dana said as the surveyed the pile of food.

“Wow is right.  Pop open that “Today: Lunch” while I put the rest of this stuff away.”

Alice got out of bed in all her naked glory and started to gather up the food that needed to go in the fridge.

“I can’t believe they did all this for us.”  She said as she piled up containers to carry them more easily. Dana didn’t hear a word. 

She was mesmerized by Alice.  She was breathtaking.  Dana was ecstatic that she was so comfortable walking around naked.  She moved behind Alice and slipped her arms around the writer’s waist.  Alice immediately sank back into the embrace.

“You know, Al, it isn’t quite lunchtime, yet.  It’s only 11:36.”  Dana was peppering Alice’s shoulders with kisses while her hands roamed over abdomen, thighs and hips.  She was rewarded with a moan from the writer.

“You’re right, Dane.  If we eat any earlier, we are no better than barbarians.”  She turned around and captured Dana’s lips in a kiss that quickly deepened.  Alice pulled off Dana’s pants as Dana quickly shed the top.  They once again fell back onto the bed.

They didn’t have lunch until 3.
