“Not of you, precisely, I mean…,” began Sam rubbing the back of her neck, grey eyes tearing, “…Of moving on. I guess somewhere in my stupid brain, it’s telling me that if I move on, I’ve lost CJ, that Jess is really gone…”
Shane stared at the passing road, “But, don’t you think that if you stay in the past, you’re dishonoring your love for them? Wouldn’t they want you to move on?”
Sam smiled, laughing lightly, “That’s exactly what CJ would have said.”
“I guess that’s a good thing, but I’m not CJ. I’m not some gorgeous nurse who’s about to have a kid, ok?” said Shane. “Cuz me and kids? No way, not ever gonna happen, if you want the white picket fence, then I’m not the girl for you. But you’ve had that, do you want it again? Or are you ready for a little adventure?” teased Shane.
Sam chuckled, “You are gorgeous, in your own androgynous way, even with the odd hair,” winked Sam not caring what Shane looked like, thinking she needed to add a few pounds actually.
“Odd? Odd?” said Shane putting her hand to her heart. “I’m hurt, so hurt.”
“Are you going to say everything, twice, twice?” asked Sam in a jestful tone.
“Yes, yes,” said Shane as they pulled into the driveway of Shane’s house. The place was quiet, as was most of the street, which was a change of pace.
“Oui, oui,” exclaimed Sam, throwing her hands up in the air, laughing harder.
“Pee, pee?” asked Shane now caught in a fit of laughter. “Tonight, Sam, at five, I’ll even pick you up,” added Shane as she exited the car.
Sam forced a smile, waving to Shane as she walked away, turning the car and leaving. Once she was gone, Shane slipped her hands into her pockets, “What the fuck kinna date do I take a millionaire on?”

Walking onto the set, the one of Emily’s bedroom, Tina led Quin towards Joss and Becca, who was dressed to impress in a very smart suit, Joss was in an old pair of jeans and a beat up tee shirt. “There she is,” said Joss pointing to the sexy blonde walking towards them, her hips swinging to an unheard beat.

Yay, Al kept the secret… so far, that is. So, Jo’s ready to go all human for Bette… I liked the idea of an infallible Jo. If she can’t die, Bette can’t lose her… and I don’t want Bette to lose her. I’d like a Darci on hand to cure any ailment: hangnails, colds, preventative measures for grey hairs (don’t have any yet, thank goodness)… I think Lara and Carmen can work, I just think they should try it and see… the heat’s already there, can they build something a bit more lasting? Al and Ro, still hot, and Ro’s just going to have to realize that Alice isn’t going to stop loving her, no matter what… Shane! Sam! Date? What kind of date DOES one take a millionaire on? I’d show Sam the life of a pauper. BBQ ribs on a paper plate from a roadside trailer, a couple of beers, and a rest of the night she wouldn’t forget. Some things, money can’t buy… Is Becca gonna have a thing for Quin? Quin’s a bit of a wild card, isn’t she? I keep pairing her up with everyone, in my mind. I thought for a while there, she was gonna prove to be a bit too much temptation for Alice! Quin certainly is tempting… plus she’s wicked smart. Tina should heed her words… if she’s as straight, then the sky is green. Great update, Janet. You *totally deserved* that award, *t o t a l l y*! I’m always waiting for more of this story. Yea! Sam and Shane are finally gonna get it on. It’ll be interesting to see what happens next with all the couples you have paired up. I’m really liking the depth of feeling between Bette and Jo. Lara and Carmen are really cute as a couple. The movie with Quin is becoming more intriguing. And has Tina changed her mind again?

So glad you’ve recovered from your ICU experience. LOL. You mentioned my favorite movie of the moment ‘Loving Annabelle’ – Sweet. I’m worried that Jo is going to be normal again. It probably won’t stop her from instinctually taking chances & basically being a bad ass always risking her life. Is it too late to scream “DON’T DO IT JO”!? Sam’s fear is understandable. Damn! the electricity between Quin & Becca made me want to see them onscreen. Lovin’ the direction of your fic.
what to say, what to say…first off…CONGRATS!! You deserve to win and of course we don’t think this will stunt your creative mind and make us think everyone is safe…after all you wouldn’t be you if you did that! Tina needs someone in her life, so go ahead and do that i suppose…LOL…and Bette…loved how she wanted to protect Jo and indirectly herself of possibly losing someone else she loves…poor thing is still very much broken. I love her and Jo..so…please continue…oh…what’s up with Meredith being down for an hour and a half then waking up with no problems?? UNBELIEVABLE!!! LOL
