The brunette looked at her,
“Uh… Why don’t you go first? I just need a minute to gather my things. I brought back all my research and I need to make sure that I have everything.” She lied, knowing well that her entire work consisted of a bag and a cage.
“Okay!” Carmen nodded and headed out, followed by Mark.
Shane looked at her friend intently. Bette returned her look and gave her a reassuring smile. She knew what she was doing… The younger woman nodded knowingly then walked out.
Bette stayed there for a while, motionless and staring at the emptiness before her. Then she grabbed her things and left the plane.
She entered the airport building and slowly approached the large room where dozens of flashes and shouted questions were erupting from all sides.
She got closer and saw Tina. A large crowd of journalists and important L.A. people were gathered around her and the kids. James, Carmen and Shane were not very far and she noticed that Alice was with them. Her blonde friend’s face was flushed and she seemed out of breath, which made the brunette smile. Alice had obviously just arrived, otherwise she would have been one of the first to rush into the plane. Probably even before Carmen.
Bette’s eyes returned to the woman that filled her heart. Tina looked exhausted and the brunette could tell that she was more than irritated by all this commotion. She also seemed a bit lost… But she didn’t give anything away. She smiled and held her head high, and Bette knew that to the rest of the world, she would appear strong and unwavering.
The brunette sighed. Her heart ached so much for the blonde. All that she longed to do was to enter this room, push her way through the crowd, grab Tina’s hand and take her away with her. Away from here, from these people, from the world’s attention, from the world’s reality.
… But she couldn’t.
She looked at the woman she was so utterly in love with, and the tears started to glaze her eyes. Then she did the only thing there was to do. And that was the most difficult thing she ever had to do in her life…

I know her business keeps her hopping but I think Helena can feel Tina pulling away from her and that is why she is keeping her distance so she wont have to hear her say she thinks they are better off just being friends. Great chapter by the way.

oh boy i thought this would be a happy chapter :P but pff so much drama.. so please let them be together tonight, i can’t stand a sad tina.. and of course it would be heaven for bette if tina choose her! i never got it why tina maired helena in the first place but grr this is too much! i wanna thank you for this update and i’m looking forward to the next :) i hope to see a very happy bette and tina :D happy newyear to all!

If I was Tina I would have left Helena’s inconsiderate but a long time ago. I hope Tina ends it soon so she can truly be with Bette. Have a Happy New Year
