    An afternoon of shopping…

    Bette asked the first salesperson she saw where they could find the items in the window, and they were quickly lead to it.

    “And which one of these little princesses is getting a new room?” the salesman asked.

    “Well they both are if we can find something perfect enough.. right girls?”

    They both nodded shyly.

    “Well would you lovely ladies like to look at some pictures?”

    “That would be great.. thank you.. we are looking for something in pink and something in purple.”

    “Well you are in luck we have lots to choose from in both colors.”

    They sat looking at all the sample photos the salesman put a stack of purple designs in front of Sky and a stack of pink designs in front of Hailey and Bette sat between the girls.

    “Are we getting new beds Mommy?” Sky asked her

    “I don’t know about new beds honey. You already have furniture at your house, and we will all be moving into the same house soon.”

    “Oh, Ok” the disappointment on her face evident. Bette looked over at the picture Skyler was looking at. It was the same set Hailey had fell in love with in the window, except done in purple with fireflies. She looked over at the pictures in front of Hailey. She had pulled out the photo of the pink butterfly set from the window and set it aside as she went through the photos of the other sets. It was apparent to Bette she had found the one she wanted but was looking at the others to see if there was anything she liked better. Bette looked at the two photos side by side and thought to herself ‘we don’t really need to get new beds for the girls.’

    “Do you guys see any others that you like better?” both girls looked up at Bette with those hazel eyes looking up at her and shook their heads no.

    The salesman looked down at the photos in front of Bette. “You are in luck… we have a new display that we just set up this morning. Follow me”

    2. GREAT chapter, I am glad that Bette got through her first displenary patch with the girls and was able to reassure them. Colin is sooooooooo cutr with Tina and Bette will also love the pictures. I LOVE how this family is continuing to grow together. PPS :o).

    9. Boy, the girls sure had a great day with Bette, they knew she would not say No to them. She could have drawn the line but knew they would be sorely disappointed.And as she said one look in those hazel eyes and she was a goner. Tina will love the room and we know she is going to cry her heart out but Bette will have a great evening with Mommy when the kids are in bed. Bette will be repaid in such a lovely and hot loving way. Hope she’s not too tired. Can hardly wait for the next post. PPS

    11. Poor Bette, three Kennard women she just doesn’t stand a chance. Wait till Tina sees all the stuff she bought. Love the girls and Colin. Great job Bette did of letting the girls know that even when there are times she’s upset with them, it doesn’t change the fact that she loves them.

    14. Oh those poor babies, I could just feel their fear of losing their mommy’s love on DAY ONE of their new life so to speak. Bette is such a sucker but a lovely one that she won’t mind at all that’s she spent large on the girlz. Now hows Colin gonna feel? and is T gonna be all practical on her woman? I hope not. Plz come back soon.
