“That would be wonderful. Thank you!” Tina said
“Yes, thank you”
“No ladies, thank you!”
Bette and Tina walked out of the store on cloud nine, and continued their shopping trip.
Several hours and several stores later….
“Babe.. come out I want to see it on you.”
“I don’t know T… I’m not sure….”
“Babe please?”
Bette opened the door to the fitting room and shyly stepped out.
Tina gasped. Before her stood the love of her life in an exquisite floor length black evening gown that hugged all of her curves in all the right spot.
“Bette baby.. it’s.. your.. beautiful.”
“I don’t know…don’t you think it’s a little much? I’m pregnant and…”
Tina cut her off. “Bette you are stunning, and pregnant. There is no reason in the world you should be questioning that.”
“But..”
“Babe I know you are pregnant, and that is a maternity dress. This will be your first big opening since you went back to work, you deserve it. We are getting it! Oh and we need to make one more stop.”
“What?? Why??”
“Cause I have to get something to fight off all the women who will be trying to go after my incredibly hot pregnant fiancée.”
Bette rolled her eyes, and smacked Tina in the arm. “Whatever you say honey!”
On the way home they both got on their phones trying to get everyone over to the house for a little get together.
“Kit will be there”
“Shane said she could stay.. and Kate will be over as soon as get gets every one fed.”
“I guess that’s everyone then.”
“What are we gonna do for dinner babe?”
“Ummm.. Pizza?”
Tina couldn’t help but laugh at Bette and her cravings. “Pizza again?”
“Bette gave Tina the puppy dog eyes. “Please??”
“Ok babe.. Pizza it is. The kids are going to be so disappointed when you have this baby and the cravings stop.”
“It hasn’t been that bad has it?”
Tina shot Bette an ‘Oh really’ look
“Ok I guess it has been that bad.”
* * * * *
“Oh my God! Your back!” Kit yelled out from behind the counter as she saw Alice walk into The Planet. She quickly made her way from behind the counter and over to the blond.
“We’ve missed you so much baby girl. When did you get back in town?”
Alice was finding it hard to breathe let alone answer while Kit had her in a bear hug. She managed to wiggle her way out before answering.
“About an hour ago. How are you?”
“Great.. things are going really good here.”
“I can see that she said as she looked out over the sea of women that filled The Planet….. and I see you finally decided to listen to me and turn this place into the Lezzie hot spot it was destined to be.”
Kit couldn’t help but laugh. “Damn I’ve missed you! Bette didn’t say anything about you coming back to town.”
“Well that’s because Bette doesn’t know that I’m here. Trying to get a hold of her lately is hard as hell. What is going on with her lately?”
“Wait a minute when was the last time you talked to Bette?”
“A couple of months ago.. but that lasted all of five minutes. She sounded like she was in the middle of romper room.”
“When was the last time before that?”
“It had been several months. Why what’s wrong with her?”
“Oh baby girl there ain’t nothin’ wrong with her. But I can’t be the one to tell you. I’ll tell you what I’m goin over to her house in a couple hours why don’t you come with me.”
“Sounds good to me.. I’ll go get settled in and meet you over there at what say seven?”
“Perfect… Oh and hey Al.. no booze tonight K!”
“Yeah whatever!”
“I’m serious. No booze!” Kit shot Alice the ‘don’t mess with me look’
“Alright Alright.. no booze”

What a beautiful story! I love how you have written the love/connection between TiBette. I can’t wait for the wedding and the birth of their son. Hopefully, Alice isn’t here to cause grief? PPVS!!!

OMG, I can not believe you stopped there. I can hardly wait for Alice mouth to hit the floor. I LOVED the scene in the Jewelry store. Niginaforever needs to reread that if she needs to see a connection. Everyone will be pleasently surprised to see the rings and the kids will be over joyed to share the same names. Unlike others, I am not worried about any drama that Alice may bring, because I think that B&T have the support of their kids and can with stand anything. PPS:o).

Ummm, is Alice going to be happy or sad or maybe even mad? I sure hope that she will be happy with the direction that Bette’s life has gone. Shopping with Bette and Tina is dream like.

So original. I like how the proposal and romantic scenes are realistic and not some fantasy, even though their love is like a fairytale.
