    Some family time… and some explaining to be done…

    “You sure can buddy, but let’s go inside first Ok?”

    “Ok.”

    They all headed in the house. To look at the photos from the sonogram. The kids were all excited to see their little brother for the first time.

    “Momma what’s my brother’s name gonna be?” Hailey asked.

    “Well sweetie your Mommy and I talked about that on the way home, and we think we have a name picked out, but we wanted to see what you three thought before we made a final decision. Would you like to help us name the baby?”

    “Yeah” they said in unison.

    “What do you guys think about Gavin Tyler Kennard-Porter?” Bette asked giving Tina a wink.

    “He’s going to have both our names Skyler asked.”

    “He sure is sweetie.”

    “I like Gavin” Hailey said

    “What do you think Little Man?” Tina asked.

    Colin didn’t answer very quickly.

    “Honey are you Ok?” Tina asked him sensing that something just wasn’t right. Colin came over next to Tina and Tina knelt down.

    “Momma can I ask you something?”

    “Of course sweetheart. What is it?”

    “Momma… will I still be your Little Man?” he asked shyly.

    Tina took Colin into her arms and pulled him into her chest. “Colin honey you will always be my Little Man… nothing or no one will ever change that. You are always going to be my special Little Man, you know why?”

    “Why?”

    “Cause you were my first little boy, and that means that you will always have a very special place in my heart right here.” Tina reassured him.

    “Will we still be able to go to the park. Just you and me?”

    “Honey Momma’s not going to lie to you Ok. When the baby is born things are going to be a little crazy for a little while, so there may be a few months that we might not get to go every week, but I promise you that I will do everything that I can to make sure that we still get our special time together, and as soon as the baby is a little older we will get to go every week again. Will that be Ok with you?”

    5. That was great and Alice was so Alice and I loved every minute of it. Everything is going fast, but like you said sometimes you just know what’s right for you and you need to go for it. PPS

    6. This is a lovely story and the children are so sweet and cut. They all love the idea of being a complete family as well as having a new baby in the house. Tell me nothing is gonna wreck this new loving family, please. I just smell disaster looming on the horizion, they don’t need it and neither do we. Great story. PPS or when you can.

    10. loving the shock affect of Alice/Shane. Being their closet friends but not knowing all of the details initally… LOL..Happy times I hope remain and maybe we could hook up some Danish as well..
