“Hey Kit. Glad you could make it.”
“How did the doctor’s appointment go?”
“Good Kit… really good! We will tell you all about it just as soon as everyone gets here.”
“Babe.. why don’t you go get changed into one of your new outfits while I call and order dinner.”
“Ok. T.. I’ll be right back.”
Once Bette was out of the room. Kit looked toward Tina. “Tina baby girl there is gonna be one extra for dinner tonight.”
“Ok… Who?”
“It’s kind of a surprise for Bette.”
“Ok?”
“Well Alice came back into town today and stopped in at The Planet right after Bette called me about tonight. I told her to come on over. I hope you don’t mind.”
“No I don’t mind.”
“She is going to be so shocked to see Bette. She doesn’t know about anything that has happened.”
“You didn’t tell her?”
“Heck no.. and miss the show?”
Tina laughed, and the doorbell rang.
“That’s probably her now” Kit said.
Tina answered the door and was met by Alice in full force.
“I’m looking for Porter.. who the heck are you and why are you answering her door?”
“Um… I’m Tina… I live here, and you must be Alice.”
“You bet your sweet ass I am… and what do you mean you live here.”
“Aunt Alice!!” Colin came running.
“Hey there squirt”
“T baby.. did you get… Holy Shit”
“Holy Shit Porter!”
“Al!”
Alice ran to Bette and they hugged. “Al when did you get back?”
“Today.. I missed you!”
“Why didn’t you tell me you were coming back?”
“Newsflash Porter… you are not the easiest person to get a hold of lately.. and if we are gonna start with the why didn’t you tell me game.” Alice motioned to Bette’s bump. “You better start explaining Porter… and you can start with the hottie that answered your door and all the rug rats including this one.” Alice demanded again motioning toward Bette’s pregnant belly.
Bette took Alice by the hand and pulled her over to where Tina was taking it all in. “Al.. I would like you to meet the love of my life. My beautiful fiancée Tina Kennard…. Tina this weirdo is Alice.”
“It’s very nice…”
“Um… excuse me what did you just say baby sis?” Kit interjected.
“That is part of the reason that we called everyone here tonight. I asked Tina to marry me this morning.”
“And I said YES!” Tina said excitedly as she flashed her ring.
“Colin is gonna be my for real brother Auntie Kit.” Haily said equally excited.
“It sure does Lei Lei.. and you know what else?”
“What?”
“That means that I am gonna be your for real Auntie too”
“It does?”
“Yep it sure does.”
“Cool!”
“I am happy for you both!” Kit said with tears in her eye. In that very moment she knew that her sisters struggles were over and she was going to be Ok.
“Uh Hum!! Yeah Porter you are so not done with the explaining.” motioning to the couch where the kids were sitting.
“Come on now Al.. this isn’t rocket science. This is Skyler.. and this is Hailey they are our daughters, and as for this one.. you will just have to wait and find out with everyone else.” Bette said rubbing her belly.
“Oh you so have some serious explaining to do Porter.”
“Later Al. I promise I will explain it all later.”

This is a lovely story and the children are so sweet and cut. They all love the idea of being a complete family as well as having a new baby in the house. Tell me nothing is gonna wreck this new loving family, please. I just smell disaster looming on the horizion, they don’t need it and neither do we. Great story. PPS or when you can.
