Today was the first cold day of the season. I mean really cold. The kind of overcast, gray, windy cold that cuts through you when you go outside. You used to say that if it was cold outside, then we would have to light a fire inside. And you never meant in the fireplace. I think that is one reason why I always loved the fall so much… the way you used to unwrap your scarf when you came home, the nights cuddling under blankets, the days where I knew a warm meal and an even warmer embrace were waiting for me when I got home. Come home, Tina. Come home and let’s talk this through. We can figure it out, I know we can.
It was a completely different morning than the one they had been enjoying. They woke to nakedness, a delightful assault on the senses, a vision of beauty and glorious sex appeal. Bette gave Tina the best, most wonderful lopsided, sleepy grin, her hair falling over one eye as she leaned closer for a kiss.
“Good morning, my Love. What should we do today?” Tina asked, groaning when their bodies touched, the softness, the heat instantly waking her up.
Tina always loved waking up next to Bette, it was such a soothing, calming way to start the day. This was no different except for the undeniable fact that they had resumed the physical nature of their reconciliation and Bette’s body was such a beautiful distraction.
“We should fuck. All day, Tee. It’s a good day for fucking…” Her hands were everywhere at once, warm and curious, her mouth hot on Tina’s neck.
Tina laughed, hugging Bette to her, the clear happiness the brunette exuded infectious and a reflection of her own joy. “Is it now?” she asked in Bette’s ear, taking the earlobe in her mouth, sucking hard.
“You keep doing that and we will never leave this bed. I have that charity event today, remember? So pretty soon I have to put clothes on… and fuck, Tee. What are you doing?”
“You smell so good, Baby… your neck tastes so good…”
“I am melting, Tee. Your mouth is turning me to mush… you need to stop before I disintegrate…”
