Bette’s ears had perked up at the mention of Tina’s not catching her flight back home and had grinned sheepishly as Tina regaled Kit with the antics of a very drunken yet as Tina insisted adorable Bette. Kit just couldn’t help but laugh at her younger sister.

She also couldn’t help but notice the amazing chemistry that these two could ooze out when in each other’s company. She noted the comfortableness and ease between these two women that she hadn’t noticed in a very long time. Anyone could see the genuine affection that each held for the other. She was happy to see her sister this happy after the hard time she had been through for the last few years.

“Tina, I am so glad that you are here. I have missed you so much.” Kit said to Tina taking hold of her hand.

“Kit, you have no idea how much I have missed this….all of us together spending quality time. I am so thankful for that day when we met so unexpectedly.” Tina said looking at Kit and then turning her gaze onto the smiling chocolate brown eyes. Seeing the look of adoration on Bette’s face Tina couldn’t help but grin back.

They all had a wonderful meal, talking and laughing just like old times. Time just flew by with them enjoying each other’s company again. For the short time they were again the family that they were. It wasn’t until Kit got a call from her manager reminding her about her meeting that they realized the time. They bid farewell to Kit but only after Kit was satisfied and took their word of meeting again soon and keeping in touch no matter what.

After Kit left for her meeting, Bette and Tina decided to take a stroll in the park nearby and enjoy the early evening. They walked hand in hand along the pathway among the beautiful gardens of the park admiring nature’s beauty and taking in all the sites around of kids playing, couples lingering around having fun, people walking their pets.

“Would you like to sit under that tree for a while B?” Tina asked as she spotted a nice lush tree in front of the pond.
