    Destined Souls : Chapter 11

Bette had a hard time containing herself on quiet a few occasions though while buying gifts for her Tee and Tina had to intervene saying that she had already bought enough. But Bette was having none of it. She only wanted the best and most expensive of things for her love. Tina finally raised the white flag claiming exhaustion and Bette agreed.

They decided to go back to the apartment to store their loot and then from there head over for their lunch. They reached the café just in time. Bette let Tina get inside first holding the door open for her.

Tina smiled appreciating the thoughtful gesture on Bette’s part. The waitress showed them to their table.

“Oh my God! Kit!” Tina shrieked just as they reached the table and she spotted Kit sitting there equally surprised.

“Baby girl!” Kit couldn’t help but give Tina the Porter grin as she stood up. This was definitely good. Her little sister had done very well at surprising her. She was ecstatic about meeting Tina again after such a long time.

“Oh Babysis you never cease to amaze me.” Kit said hugging Tina.

“Yes I have to say Porter, your surprise rocks!” Tina laughed happily while looking at Bette who was beaming.

“Oh don’t mention it ladies. It was all my pleasure.” Bette said unsuccessfully fighting off the blush that rose up her cheeks at their praise.

    “Please let’s sit down.”

All three of them settled down in their seats as the waitress brought over the menu cards and the days special lists for them to go through.

Bette promptly took over the duty of ordering some light appetizers with a nice bottle of wine to go along with them from the restaurant’s special wine collection for both herself and Tina and of course a bottle of chilled Pellegrino for her beloved sister.

Meanwhile Kit and Tina were immersed with playing catch up with Tina recounting the events of last couple of days of how she and Bette had met accidentally and how she had turned back from catching the plane to go to Bette’s house only to find a very drunk and adorable Bette at the doorstep.

    1. Great update, Tanishaa. Glad you allowed Bette to open up and enjoy what was happening between them… but what’s with the shutterbug teaser?? hmmmmmm….

    2. Reading this the second time it dawned on me who maybe following Bette and Tina. Someone is up to no good. I would put money on it that it has something to do with Kathy.
