Disturbance – The End of a Nightmare

I would first like to thank my family who without their help I wouldn’t be here today. To my best friend Marcus Allenwood who was the first one to put some sense in my head to finally leave my abusive ex husband and for coming to my aid many of times when I thought it was over for me. You have been there since the beginning and I know I owe much of my life to you. To my friends who have supported me over the years, I am grateful to have you guys in my life. Next I would like to thank my immediate family for its their love that keeps me going everyday. To my beautiful wife Bette Porter and our two daughters Angelica and Christie Porter, without you I dont know where I would be. You have showed me exactly what true love is all about and I know my heart and soul is finally complete now. I love you guys with all my heart, you are my true first, last and forever.

    The crowd started clapping.

Tina: Lastly, I will like to give a special thanks to all the women who have came forward and took a stand to finally fight back. I’m sure there are times were you wanted to give up but you didn’t and that’s make you a hero in my book There’s a difference between standing up and telling people what you’re planning to do and standing up and going and accomplishing something. There is no safe way to remain in a relationship with a person who has no conscience. The only solution is to escape. Remember, being angry at someone hurts only you. Let go of your anger, not for the other person, but for yourself. Remember, forgiving doesn’t mean forgetting. Forgiving means accepting that it happened….To women everywhere out there someone I say to you…Come out and take stand, we are here to help you. We are you! Thank you and enjoy the rest of your evening!

Everyone stood up screaming, whistling, and clapping.

Tina walked over to her family and hugged and kissed each one of them.

    Tina: I love you guys!

Bette looked down at the children and mocked Tina they same was she had done those years ago in the hospital bed.

Bette: what do you say…do we love her back?

Bette smiled and the girls nodded their heads.

Bette: Well the girls and I have came to an agreement and we think that we just might love you back, don’t we girls?

Angie/Christies: yes! We love you mommy!

Bette: yea we love you mommy!

Tina chuckled at her silly family.

Tina: Good I was hoping you guys did.

They all squeezed into their famous family big bear hug.
