Estelle peered over Helena’s shoulder and grinned “Now would be a good time, no?”
“It would indeed” replied Bette, standing behind Helena
“For what?” Helena turned around in surprise. “And since when have you two understood each other so well?”
Estelle laughed and winked “We do now”
“Mm hmm” murmured Bette, slowly running her hands up and down Helena’s arm “Now that we have someone in common”
“Oh do you?” said Helena, pressing herself closer to Bette
“Mm hmm” Bette leaned in a nuzzled Helena’s neck.
“Mmm… now is a good time for what, Bette?”
“To kiss you…”
“So Bette?”
“Mm hmm?”
“You need to kiss me now”
Chapter 11
“Bette!”
The brunette in question frowned upon hearing her name. It didn’t sound like her name was being uttered by the woman she was inches away from kissing- that would have sounded sexy and low and Helena-like. This was shocked and sharp and… decidedly Kit-like. Uh oh! Bette’s eyes flew open.
Her eyes still closed, Helena frowned. She was still waiting for the gentle caress of Bette’s tongue on her lips, the soft, slow, perfect moulding of their lips and the warmth of Bette’s breath. Well, the warm breath she did feel since she was still leaning in (and in not the most comfortable angle either. God, they should teach these in yoga!), but the breath was a bit ragged… panicky even.
“Uhh… Helena?” whispered Bette, urgently
“Yes… Bette” Helena responded breathlessly, still keeping with the moment.
Bette could feel Kit’s eyes boring into her, and knew silence would not prevail for much longer. She thought about shaking Helena out of the near-kiss stupor but then settled for a slight jiggle.
“What, what is it?” Helena’s eyes popped open and immediately went from annoyance (at having been jiggled) [who wouldn’t be, eh?] to surprised (at seeing they had an audience of one glaring woman) and then settled into a quizzical look…
Oh great. Helena doesn’t know Kit yet! “Uh… Helena?” she repeated
“Bette there’s someone behind y….”
“You were kissing my sister” demanded Kit, she herself not knowing whether it was a question or a statement.

I think i may be first…YEA ME!! now for your story…it was too short…kinda like me…but damnit! Make it more long…I love the fact that Alice made popcorn..cuz do you really blame her..of course she didn’t need to call in big sister! POor Bette! But you continue to ignore my request for some Tina torture…of course now…i don’t think i want her tortured i think i want her back with BETTE!! ……hehehehehhehehe….GOTCHA!!

Wha-aat ? Please, Vvitch, tell me you absentmindedly forgot to post another couple of pages there… Right ? You have got to be kidding us ?! ( stomping my foot ). LOL ! How can you tell us that you are going to be away from the boards for awhile and leave us with such a teeny tiny chapter ?! This will not do, dear Vvitch. LOL ! LOL ! Oh, well, so before I start, let me please say that there is only so much that you can be taught in yoga, you know… LMAO !So how did Dana become so perceptive anyway ? That girl really does have a sixth sense, eh ?… Well, Dana’s too funny and you’re absolutely right, anytime is a good time for an author to bring back Dana, she has such a great potential for comedy ( so I’mm just have to say : Way to go, V ! ). Speaking of comedy, I wanted to add that I still love you neologisms, you just keep cracking me up with those ( especially when you justify yourself for using them ). Not to mention your own comments on the dialogue that I find sooooo amusing. This chapter was a really nice puff of fresh air and I loved it. Well, now hopefully you won’t keep us waiting too long ( I am kinda concerned though, you know… ). Please, V, don’t torture us, have mercy on us…

Hey vvitch! Gotta stay ever vigalant against forgetting certain characters, lol! I love this story. Estelle’s a hoot and Dana’s always a laugh. So everyone knows, except for the baby. You should do a sequel when you get the time. I know you’re busy. And I wonder what Kit’s said to Bette? Everyone being fine about this is so funny. I just love this.

Brilliant! This wsas sooo funny! Even before I clicked on ‘Double Vision’ to read the chapter, I just knew I was in for a treat and that’s exactly what I got! :) This story, no, I should say all your work, makes me laugh so much!!!
