“OK but I just don’t want you to feel like you’re walking on eggshells around me. Remember how we talked about both of us having a fear of emotional intimacy between us?”

“Because we lack trust and we are afraid to make ourselves too vulnerable to one another.”

“Exactly and we need to overcome that babe. We have to be vulnerable to develop trust and we have to trust in order to be vulnerable; it’s how we strengthen our love. We have to be able to share what we think, believe and feel openly without fear of repercussions or reprisals. We have to open our hearts and minds to one another. I know it’s scary but it will be so worth it as we deepen our commitment and build the foundation for our life together. We have perfected physical intimacy so let’s work on the emotional piece.”

“One of the things Emma and I talked about today was what she termed ‘relationship trust’. I think that is what we might be lacking in. If we can build that then everything else will fall into place and we’ll have the emotional intimacy that we’re seeking.”

“How did she suggest we do that?”

“One thing was getting out of our comfort zone by doing things we don’t normally do. She said we should be spontaneous but also predictable because the predictability is what builds the trust. She also suggested having our talks in different environments and without distractions. Like walking on the beach or taking a canoe ride on a lake or going hiking and finding a quiet spot in the mountains.”

“That sounds like a really good idea. Did she say anything about how to start these conversations?”

“She said we should ask each other questions but focus the questions on getting answers to things that will move us closer to a more intimate bond. Questions that have relevance to our current relationship and as you mentioned that will deepen our commitment and build on the foundation for our lives together. Asking the right questions will give each of us insight into the other’s wants and needs and will help us to meet them. We can talk about this more with her at our session on Thursday but I think it’s a really good place to start.”

“I think so too. Do you have a question for me right now?”

“Yes I do.”

“Do you really think we’ve perfected physical intimacy?” Bette says as she moves closer.

“Oh I definitely think we could be considered experts now.” Tina responds.

Bette knows all of Tina’s erogenous zones and she demonstrates her expert techniques as she starts licking behind Tina’s ear gently with the tip of her tongue. As Tina reacts to Bette’s seductive whispers and hot breath on her ear Bette starts to lick around the edges and sucking on her earlobes. She moves her fingertips from below the ear to Tina’s shoulders in a circular motion as she kisses and gently sinks her teeth into the soft skin of Tina’s neck which is her most sensitive area.

Bette moves them from their sitting positions on the daybed to lying down. She continues to leave a trail of hot wet kisses on Tina’s neck and shoulders as her fingers expertly open the buttons on Tina’s shirt. She places more soft gentle kisses on Tina’s chest and breast through her bra. She then focuses her attention on Tina’s mouth as she gently opens it with her fingers and teases her tongue between her lips, over the edges and gently sucking on the bottom lip. Tina’s moaning encourages her to take full control as she thrust her tongue deeper into her lover’s mouth. The blonde’s breathing increases as she moves her hands into the curly brown hair of her mocha princess and pulls her closer to deepen the kiss. They are both getting really turned on as the kissing becomes hotter and more sensual.

They come up for air for a few seconds then Tina totally loses it when Bette starts licking her neck. She moves back up to capture the soft pink lips which open invitingly for another mind-blowing tonsil inspection. The only talking they did for the rest of the evening was in their love language.
