Epilogue
Tina remained where she was, kneeling up across Bette’s lap, her hips now animated by a subtle sway, back and forth barely perceptible but maddening all the same by the tension it created, coiling upward leaving in its wake dampening heat.
Her breath was warm against Bette’s cheek. Her fingers gently brushed back a strand of hair from Bette’s temple, trailing down the curve of her jaw with reverence, her touch achingly tender.
For a long moment, neither of them moved, held there in a silence that pulsed with quiet electricity, breath mingling, hearts steadying in shared rhythm.
Then Tina leaned in again, her lips grazing Bette’s, not rushed, not urgent, but full of heat held carefully in restraint. She kissed her like she was learning her again, mapping familiar territory with a new kind of hunger.
When she finally pulled back, she looked into Bette’s eyes and smiled, slow and sure. “Come,” she murmured, her voice low and coaxing, laced with desire and something gentler still. “I want you with me.”
She rose with unhurried grace, every movement fluid, almost balletic. As she stood, the soft fabric of her sarong shifted with her, the slit widening for a fleeting moment, revealing the full, bronzed expanse of her form like an exquisite window briefly thrown open.
Then, just as quickly, the folds drew closed again, like a curtain falling in a final act.
The gesture was effortless, sensual in its restraint.
Tina extended her hand toward Bette, her fingers open, inviting, quietly commanding in the way only she could be, without a word spoken.
Bette took it without hesitation.
She stood slowly, her movements measured, a flicker of anticipation tightening through her frame. Her breath caught, and her throat bobbed once as if swallowing something unspoken. Still, she rose tall, eyes never leaving Tina’s, drawn forward by the quiet pull between them, part gravity, part longing.
Tina didn’t say anything else. She didn’t need to.
She led Bette with their fingers loosely entwined, her steps unhurried, sure. As they moved down the hallway, the air cooled slightly, the stillness of the house embracing them.
The bedroom door was open.
Inside, the bed waited, mosquito net drawn, white linens turned down.

Wow, what a ride…. While am greatly saddened to read that this is the last ever instalment of this saga am also endlessly grateful for this story. I am greedy like that you see and like someone else said on this board I could go on reading this story forever.
I’ve read a lot of Tibette fanfic over the years and this is way way at the top of the list of the very best. It’s not only the love story which am ALWAYS there for it’s the exquisite writing and the description of this unique universe that makes you feel like you’re right there with them. So I want to thank you for sharing this I can only imagine how time consuming writing a story like this is. I am very grateful for all the time and work that obviously went into it.
PS: I will be secretly hoping that you get inspired and write an epilogue to the epilogue…. Or who knows a 57 part followup…. Savannah the reconstruction? Am here for it lol
I couldn’t agree more! Thank you for this wonderful AU adventure – from the first moments with Bette and Augustine and Tina arriving at Helena’s resort to the last Tibette-moment in this epilogue. Your writing is outstanding. With every installment you brought the beauty of Kenya with its nature, wildlife, people and culture closer to me.
It has everything: a great, elaborate, gripping plot, interesting supporting characters and lots of Tina & Bette romance.
For me your stories – Savannah especially – are the ones I always go back to when I need a good Bette & Tina fanfic fix. I’m sad to see this series end but on the other hand: congratulation to you for putting an end to it! For me as a ff writer way back when it was the hardest part to finish a story, to decide that I have nothing more to tell.
Like BTA I’m hoping that you’ll find the inspiration and the time to post an afterthought. Or finish any Tibette story you might store on your harddrive.
Thanks again, Kins, for sharing your work with us.
This story was great just like the others!!! Glad it all ended well, sad to see the end. Hoping you continue to write more tibette stories.
You are an incredibly talented writer! Thank you for this amazing saga! I love your every work, each of them is written so beautifully. Please never stop writing, I’ll be happy to read your new stories ❤️
Never thought I’d be reading more of these Savannah ladies, it was a wonderful surprise and a beautifully crafted journey. Thank you.
