    Eternal Love

They took long moonlit walks on the beach, or they sat and watched sunsets. They even got up for sunrises sometimes so they could have time together before they went to work. They had picnic lunches at nearby parks or they went to Griffith Park and walked the hiking trails. They went to Long Beach and Newport Beach to enjoy private sailings on catamarans and gondolas. These were especially romantic, and they often took a picnic basket and wine to enjoy as they watched the beautiful sunsets.

They talked about everything as if they were meeting each other for the first time. They took Emma’s suggested exercise of formulating 20 questions each to ask the other. Some were frivolous, some were philosophical, some were really deep, and some touched on difficult subjects but they always answered openly and honestly. They continued their intimate date nights, and their consultations with Emma. They were more connected now than they ever were before in their previous relationship.

    End of summer …

It was Labor Day weekend and Bette, Tina and Angie had spent it just the three of them cocooned in their own little world. September would mark six months since they moved in together as a family living under the same roof.

They celebrated all weekend long taking turns planning special meals and activities. They spent a lot of time at the beach getting more familiar with the area that they would call home by this time next year. This is where they were on Sunday just before sunset. They had spent a full day and had just finished dinner at one of the local family friendly restaurants. They decided to walk on the beach and watch the sunset before heading back to WeHo.

It was still light out, and they had time before sunset so Angie was playing in the sand just a few feet from where her parents were sitting on a blanket. She had her little bucket and shovel. Tina watched her as she walked around the beach collecting shells, and rocks and scouting out treasures.

Although they had dressed for the cooler weather, they’d brought another blanket to use to snuggle under if it got too chilly. Bette was in her favorite position lying with her head in Tina’s lap and almost dozing as Tina ran her hands through her hair and massaged her scalp.

    4. The good news is that there was a sequel called ‘From Here to Eternal Love’ but it’s not ready to be re-posted. This one needs a major re-write but the framework is there. However finishing ‘Love a bridge between our differences’ is my priority so that comes first. You all are a great inspiration. I really appreciate all the encouragement.
