    Tina and Leigh settled on a fair price for the condo and completed the sale. The closing date was scheduled for September 30th. Leigh had agreed to purchase the kitchen appliances and some other miscellaneous items that Tina had left in the condo including some of the furniture. The rest was sold, donated or stored.

    Leigh was very excited about moving into her new residence. She had already started using Jenny’s studio for her work so once she moved into the condo she would have an easy commute to CU and the studio. She flew to Monterey/Carmel periodically for appearances at the gallery. Her exhibit was still attracting a nice following. Soon they would move it from Carmel to the gallery in Monterey and then to San Francisco.

    Tina, Jamie, Alice and Kit continued to work with the team of volunteers on the fund-raising event that was scheduled for November. Jamie and Alice became really good friends and hung out socially even when they were not working on the event. There is an obvious attraction between them but Jamie respects that Alice is in a committed relationship and Alice resists the feelings as she wants to remain faithful to Tasha.

    Shane is taking the photography classes very seriously. Michael encourage her as he sees real talent and potential. She loves the female form and has taken some pretty amazing pictures of women in natural settings, not posed. She loves working in black & white and has learned how to develop and print the photos in the darkroom at the Center. Now when she approaches women it’s not only in search of a sexual encounter; now she can look at someone and see the person and not just an object for sexual pleasure. She has curtailed the drinking and is no longer smoking pot or popping pills. Bette, Leigh and Tina are looking out for her more and they can see positive changes taking place.

    Bette and Tina took advantage of the two weeks that Angie was at summer camp to really try to find the emotional intimacy they had talked about. They made a conscious effort to open up to each other; heart, body, soul and mind. They set special time aside for their talks and they changed the environment, but always made sure that it was a place where they could have private uninterrupted talk time.

      Love this story and sad to see it will soon be ending.

      I find your writing leads me to other thoughts about my own life. I celebrate my birthday in a couple of days, wish it were with Angie and Alice :)

    2. A new update after a much deserved rest.

      Like SassyGran it makes me sad that the story will coming to a end.

      But there are a few more chapters and i am Looking forward to it.

    7. The good news is that there was a sequel called ‘From Here to Eternal Love’ but it’s not ready to be re-posted. This one needs a major re-write but the framework is there. However finishing ‘Love a bridge between our differences’ is my priority so that comes first. You all are a great inspiration. I really appreciate all the encouragement.
