Chapter 24
Our Honeymoon…
Let me romance with you
I’m caught in a dream

It’s so hard to believe this is happening to me

Bette and Tina were all packed and the driver of the town car loaded
their bags in the trunk. They gave their friends warm hugs of thanks.
Tina held Jared and Bette held Jessie. “So you know we will be gone all
week but we will miss you,” Bette said kissing Jessie’s cheeks. “And
Auntie Alice, Auntie Dana and Auntie Kit are all going to be with you”
Tina said hugging Jared. “Will you bring us something back?” Jessie
questioned. “You bet we will” Tina quickly replied. “So Jared are you
going to take could care of Jess?” Bette said in a tease. “I’m bigger
than him” Jessie quickly reminded her mother. They all laughed.
But Jared seemed to be having a much harder time and Tina was feeling
really concerned about leaving him. She walked toward the back yard
still holding him wanting to have more privacy. “Jared, we love you
very much and I promise Mom and I will be back. Are you worried?”
“Sometimes people don’t come back” His big brown eyes were filling with
tears.
Bette could see what was going on and she signaled Shane who took
Jessie for a moment distracting her with talk about a trip the
aquarium. Bette wrapped her arms around Jared and Tina. “Mom loves you
Jared and we will back, and you are going to have a great time while we
are gone” “Jared said that sometimes people don’t come back” Tina
shared wanting Bette to queue into his fear.
Tina handed Jared to Bette and Bette could feel how hard his little
heart was beating. “Jared, look at Mom” He locked eyes with Bette.
“This is just a vacation for Mommy and me, but we will be back for you
and Jessie. We love you so much Jared and we will call you everyday.”
The idea of a phone call seemed to cheer Jared up. “You can hear our
voices everyday and tell everything you are doing” Tina added.
Jared gave them a shy half smile and the sadness was lifting.

Great chapter C, I hope that all goes well with the adoption. I love that Jerad reminds them of their first son and the name change. I know that you have drama comming, but please alow them to solidify their family first. Little Jerad deserves some happiness and love in his life :o)

I started reading this chapter and was thinking, ‘I know that song from somewhere…’ At the 3rd line I realized it was from Queen’s “Made in Heaven” album. Damn Bette is lucky to get a nice thorough massage. I could go for one of those. :O
That Porter sure knows how to travel in style. Wish my flights to/from San Francisco had been anything remotely like that. But no, I was in economy. Need I say more?
