    Family Dinner

The dinner went on with a lot of small talking, strawberries and chocolate ice cream and then, after the dessert, silence felt down between them.
It was only for 10 or 15 seconds: Bette lost herself in her thoughts for a moment, and Angie felt uneasy, because the questions that Mama B did her in the afternoon suddenly returned to her mind.
She said, in a low whisper and eyesdown, a simple “No”.
“Sorry, honey, what did you say?” asked Bette, coming back to reality.
    “I said no, mom.”
    “I still don’t understand, Angie…”
“I was thinking about your…. questions… of this afternoon, before we met that journalist. What’s her name? Maya? Yes, Maya.”
It took a few seconds for Bette to recall in her mind what questions her daughter was talking about….
“Ooh yes, now I remember! I asked you if Jordie and you had sex, am I right? But you have already answer me this afternoon”
Angie sprang up from the chair, restless: “Ok, ok, it’s true, I already answered you but… You can’t do that! You can’t simply ask me such a thing out of… out of nowhere, mom!!”
There’s something else – thinked Bette – She’s not simply nervous for the question itself…
“Mmmh…. Calm down Angie, and try to tell me what really made you uncomfortable”
Angie heaved a deep sigh, and went on after a while: “I’m scared, mom! I really like Jordie, I want the best for her and I can’t think to disappoint her! And all that matter about sex scares me! What if she doesn’t like my body? What if I won’t be able to give her pleasure? And if I hurt her? If I do something wrong??”
Bette got up and went to hug her almost-crying daughter.
“Oh my baby! Calm down and don’t worry, I’m pretty sure that Jordie and you’ll have great times together…. at least from the moaning of pleasure that I heard coming from your bedroom in some night when, I suppose, you… touch yourself…” said Bette in a way that, in her intentions, should have been of mother-daughter-complicity.
“WHAT THE FUCK, MOM!!!” screamed a suddenly shock and angry Angie, running away and slamming the door of the living room behind her.

BETTE PORTER!!! WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU JUST SAY TO YOUR DAUGHTER?!?!
These words rumbled in Bette’s mind like a thunder, with the terrible, storm-like voice of Tina.
”Oh Tina, sometimes I really, really miss you…” said Bette in a sad voice to the now empty kitchen.

    1. Hi Claudio,

I confess that I still can’t read about GenQ stories, especially where Bette and Tina are divorced, but you have written a great story!

I liked seeing the storyline between Bette and Angie and now reading it in your story, great job!

Is there a chance that you will write more stories about them? I would read them!

Thank you for sharing it with us!

      • Thank you!
What have you liked the most of my story?
Just the idea, or the words I used, or… whatever else?
About more stories… ok, I’ve a couple of ideas, but I don’t know if I’ll ever write them, I’ll let you know ;)

        Thank you again!

    2. WOW! We now have heterosexual men writing for this site. Sorry but am not going to continue on as they do not have the lesbian body parts or the lesbian experience. This is my opinion only.

      • You read my mind completely. I am not going to read this straight man’s story. He is totally ignorant of the subject matter and sounds like he likes underage girls. I personally do not want him here as his presence offends me.

    3. I expected some comments, but not about me being a straight man, instead about my story.
This little discrimination hurts me, as my only presence here offends someone of you.
Anyway, I don’t intend to be a problem, so I’ll leave your community soon.
I’ve only one question for you: do you think that if I published my story under a totally-invented neutral or (worst!) female profile would your opinions be different?

I just liked the idea of this story, and I try to write it focusing myself on the emotions and fellings of the characters involved in it.
Sorry again to hurt you all, it wasn’t in my intention.
      Bye

    4. I pay very little attention to the author except to recognize if I have read something in the past of theirs or if its a story that I am following. I just the story on its on merits and how it appeals to me – story line, and the arc from start to finish. The gender, the sexual orientation, the race or country of origin has does not figure into my reviews. I promise you – that is of no consequence to me.

Now, about your story. I found it very sweet. I imagine at this stage of Angie’s life, Bette will have several embarrassing conversations with Angie about sex. Parent – child conversations about anything sexual are always awkward and embarrassing. The desire of the parent to depart information and assist in a normal life, while the child would like to be having this conversation with anyone in the world but their parent. For most people, imaging your parents as having sex is just something that seams yucky! It is particularly true of Americans. However, most Americans have some of the more prudish views on sex and nudity and what is age appropriate and the parent’s role in giving this information.

At least in your story, Bette has the courage to at least initiate the conversation and even disclose one of her own adventures.. I do not know if I would have the courage to disclose something so personal But then again, I’m not Bette Porter. Enjoyed your story….would love to see you write more.

    5. Thank you to everyone!
I’ve in mind a couple of new stories, but I need some weeks to write them, I’m busy with others projects at the moment.

I promise that I’ll be the most invisible and discrete presence: I’ll delete my photo and I will not comment or post on the Activity Wall, I don’t want to hurt anyone of you.

      Thank you again.
