    Family Dinner

Angie listened to her mother carefully and trustfully, but this half-revealed secret suddenly tickled her curiosity.
”No one, Angie, no one…” replied Bette while half-turning back on her daughter.
    ”Mo-oom?” and then, louder: ”MOM!!!”
”Oooh to hell! Like me and Alice!”
The silence of disbelief-mixed-shame was broken by Angie: ”Oh my God. Ooooh my Goooood…. You and Uncle A?!? I can’t believe it!! Tell me everything! I’m too curious now!”
    ”No, I won’t, Angie”
”Do you prefer I ask directly to Uncle A, mommy?”
    “You little diabolic girl!”
Angie smiled self-satisfied. “Take it as my little revenge, mom”
After a sigh of resignation, Bette said: “I’ll tell you only one episode, perhaps the most poetic and exciting that we had together. That night we went to the Los Angeles Opera…”
“What show did you watch at?”
“It was the opera Lakmè by Léo Delibes, and during its most famous aria…”
    “That is…??”
“The Flower Duet, Angie. Now could you…”
“Ehi Google!” said Angie, in a louder voice “play The Flower Duet from the opera Lakmè, please!!”
“With pleasure!” replied a metallic voice from one corner of the living room, and the music began to flow across the air.
“Oh my…” Bette closed her eyes, in a dreamy way over her memories.
    ”It’s very beautiful, mom…”
”Yes indeed. At this point… Here, exactly at this words, I reached out my hand under the dress of Alice… She weared a red dress… and I began to caress her thigh. Alice was caught by surprise, but she didn’t react and remained silent, enjoying my soft touch. I was fully proud of myself! I felt as I had power all over the theatre! Then I moved my hand up, at the center of her legs, and I start to touch her, and she was horny, more and more horny as the music grow up to the finale of the aria, when she had a silent orgasm, just in time for us to clap our hands to the singers. We were delighted by our orgams, the physical one of Alice and my mental one.”
    The music finished.
Angie kept on listening, astonished, to her mother: “At the end of the opera, in the foyer, an old woman come towards us and said to me: “A very good performance, my dear” and ran off. We still have today the suspicion that she didn’t speak about the show but about what I did to Alice…”
“Do you… Do you really did a thing like this, mom??” asked a surprised Angie.
“Only one time Angie, only one time. It was, and it is, dangerous and against the law. Don’t you dare do it. Oh, I know, it’s also exciting, but it is too dangerous! Don’t you dare do it, do you promise me, honey?”
“Ok mom, I promise you. Then what happened between Alice and you? Why did you break up?”
“A wonderful woman came into my life… A blonde one…” … and into my heart, and she’s still there, concluded Bette in her own mind.
    “Mama T?”
“Yes Angie, Mama T. And Alice, from being my lover, became our friend. Then we met Shane, and Dana… Marina ran The Planet, Uncle Kit came back to Los Angeles, and Jenny… We had great time all together… And we’re still friends, maybe only in our hearts and memories, and this it’s the most important thing”

Angie smiled, lovely and heartily: “Thank you mom, for everything you told me tonight. I go to bed now, I’m tired.Goodnight! ” Angie hugged and kissed her mom, then went upstairs to her bedroom. “Good night Angie, sleep well”.
After a few moments, Bette sent a text message to Tina: “Our daughter is growing old. She isn’t anymore our baby, she’s a young woman now. I miss and lov…”
Bette stopped and deleted the last words.
Tina’ll marry Carrie, she has a new life now. I can’t do this to her. A tear run down her cheek.
So she completed the message: “We both miss and love you. Kiss!” followed by a smiling-face-and-eyes emoji.
She cleaned up a little bit the kitchen and the dining room, turned off the light and stepped upstairs for the night.
Angie’s bedroom door was firmly closed.
Damn!! thinked Bette, a little bit angry with herself for what she said during the dinner.
Her right hand was almost on the door handle when her phone vibrated lightly.
Tina replied at her text: “I know, Bee. Remember to give her the space she needs!” Winking-face emoji.“I miss and love you too. Kiss Angie for me. Goodnight!”
Thank you, Tina, thinked Bette drawing back her hand.
With a sigh of resignation and the heart full of joy, Bette turned around heading to her bedroom.

    1. Hi Claudio,

I confess that I still can’t read about GenQ stories, especially where Bette and Tina are divorced, but you have written a great story!

I liked seeing the storyline between Bette and Angie and now reading it in your story, great job!

Is there a chance that you will write more stories about them? I would read them!

Thank you for sharing it with us!

      • Thank you!
What have you liked the most of my story?
Just the idea, or the words I used, or… whatever else?
About more stories… ok, I’ve a couple of ideas, but I don’t know if I’ll ever write them, I’ll let you know ;)

        Thank you again!

    2. WOW! We now have heterosexual men writing for this site. Sorry but am not going to continue on as they do not have the lesbian body parts or the lesbian experience. This is my opinion only.

      • You read my mind completely. I am not going to read this straight man’s story. He is totally ignorant of the subject matter and sounds like he likes underage girls. I personally do not want him here as his presence offends me.

    3. I expected some comments, but not about me being a straight man, instead about my story.
This little discrimination hurts me, as my only presence here offends someone of you.
Anyway, I don’t intend to be a problem, so I’ll leave your community soon.
I’ve only one question for you: do you think that if I published my story under a totally-invented neutral or (worst!) female profile would your opinions be different?

I just liked the idea of this story, and I try to write it focusing myself on the emotions and fellings of the characters involved in it.
Sorry again to hurt you all, it wasn’t in my intention.
      Bye

    4. I pay very little attention to the author except to recognize if I have read something in the past of theirs or if its a story that I am following. I just the story on its on merits and how it appeals to me – story line, and the arc from start to finish. The gender, the sexual orientation, the race or country of origin has does not figure into my reviews. I promise you – that is of no consequence to me.

Now, about your story. I found it very sweet. I imagine at this stage of Angie’s life, Bette will have several embarrassing conversations with Angie about sex. Parent – child conversations about anything sexual are always awkward and embarrassing. The desire of the parent to depart information and assist in a normal life, while the child would like to be having this conversation with anyone in the world but their parent. For most people, imaging your parents as having sex is just something that seams yucky! It is particularly true of Americans. However, most Americans have some of the more prudish views on sex and nudity and what is age appropriate and the parent’s role in giving this information.

At least in your story, Bette has the courage to at least initiate the conversation and even disclose one of her own adventures.. I do not know if I would have the courage to disclose something so personal But then again, I’m not Bette Porter. Enjoyed your story….would love to see you write more.

    5. Thank you to everyone!
I’ve in mind a couple of new stories, but I need some weeks to write them, I’m busy with others projects at the moment.

I promise that I’ll be the most invisible and discrete presence: I’ll delete my photo and I will not comment or post on the Activity Wall, I don’t want to hurt anyone of you.

      Thank you again.
