    Monica pulls into the driveway in front of the hotel. The Suburban takes up the entire drive. Bette and Tina are in the lobby awaiting their arrival and they come out when they see the car pull up. They have already booked hotel rooms for Shane, Alice, Kit and Monica. Angie and Riley will be

    Monica pulls into the driveway in front of the hotel. The Suburban takes up the entire drive. Bette and Tina are in the lobby awaiting their arrival and they come out when they see the car pull up. They have already booked hotel rooms for Shane, Alice, Kit and Monica. Angie and Riley will be spending the night at James and Lisa’s so the adults can go out and have some fun. James and Lisa will be joining them as well so the kids will be staying with a trusted baby-sitter. Once everyone gets settled into their rooms Bette and Tina take Angie and Riley over to James’ house.

    “Mommy! Momma! Did you see how big that car was? We had so much fun eating and watching movies, and listening to music. You really missed it.”

    “Well we are driving back in the car with you tomorrow so we can have all the fun too OK? Are you excited to see your cousins?”

    “I am. I can’t wait to play with them.”

    “You know you will be spending the night so you will have a lot of time to play. Aunt Lisa and Uncle James and your Momma and I are going out tonight so you guys will have a baby-sitter. We need you to be good for the sitter OK? And make sure you take care of Riley.”

    “I will Mommy.”

    They arrive at James and Lisa’s house and as usual Sophie and Joey are waiting at the door. They barely say hello before they take off to the backyard to play with Riley. Lisa offers Bette and Tina something to eat or drink but they decline both. They sit in the kitchen to talk since they can watch the kids from the bay window.

    “How was the show this morning? Did they get a good crowd?”

    “We were there for the 11am talk and she had a pretty good audience. There seemed to be lot of interest in her work. I think she’s going to do well. You certainly helped her along with the fantastic photos and brochures. They really showed the pieces well.”

    “Thank you. It really wasn’t that hard. The pieces were so beautiful that they looked good regardless of the angle. It was one of the easiest photo shoots I’ve ever done. I can’t wait to start working on the new collection.”

    2. Once again, love this update. Nice to say how you put the part of Shane from the show into this story. Nice to read some more of Shane. She’s called Yoda but apart from some smart remarks, we hardly get to know something of her. I like this chapter. Keep the chapters coming BAT, thank you, love them.

    3. GM! I didn’t make it last night either! All the long hours are catching up with me! I love it cause I’m Blessed! I have always loved Shane! She’s the type loyal friend I would love to have in my life. If I was a writer I would write a story about her friendship with Bette and Tina. I don’t mean a sexual one either. I’m off for another nap before I go have blood drawn this morning. Thanks and hope to see another update when I get back from having my blood drawn. PPS

    4. You tease! But I think I can fill in the blanks. .. Shane is a very cool lady and a loyal friend. She makes mistakes and i am glad she has the support from B&T and Leigh. She will find her way.
