    Fill in the blank …

“I know. I’ll think about what you said.” Talking things out with Bette really helped and it appeared she’d gotten through to her.

Bette hates to see her friend looking so downtrodden. “Hey do you want to come have dinner with us?”

”No but thanks for asking. I just want to be alone tonight. I have a lot of things to figure out. I’ll see you tomorrow OK?”

“OK. I love you sweetie. Don’t ever forget that you have a lot of people that love and care about you.”
“I love you too. Bette. Thank you for listening. I didn’t realize how much I needed to talk about all this.”

“Anytime. I’m glad to help. You take it easy on yourself. Have a goodnight.”

    “Goodnight.”

Bette leaves Shane and goes home to Tina and Angie. Tina has finished preparing dinner, they were just waiting for Bette to come so they could eat. After dinner they clean up and decide to play a board game until Angie’s bedtime. They play a word game that is both fun and educational for Angie. She get tired after about an hour then they do bath and story time before putting her down for the night.

As Bette and Tina head to their bedroom they decide that they want to continue playing a board game, but the kind they have in mind is for adults only. They have a few ‘games for lovers’ that they keep on the top shelf in their closet so Angie doesn’t mistakenly get a hold of them.

They select a dice game where the roll of the dice determines the activity. Each player alternately rolls the die and moves the token accordingly along the board. They then have to do whatever the instructions tells them to do in the space they land on.

The activities can be playful, intimate, romantic, loving, meaningful, communicative, or physical like hugging, kissing, touching, etc. There are a few blank spots on the board and if they land on the blank the person that rolls the die gets to tell the other person what they want them to do. There are no losers in this game and really no end to it.

They set the game up in the middle of their California King. Bette rolls the first die. She has to move three spaces and lands on …

    1. Once again, love this update. Nice to say how you put the part of Shane from the show into this story. Nice to read some more of Shane. She’s called Yoda but apart from some smart remarks, we hardly get to know something of her. I like this chapter. Keep the chapters coming BAT, thank you, love them.

    2. GM! I didn’t make it last night either! All the long hours are catching up with me! I love it cause I’m Blessed! I have always loved Shane! She’s the type loyal friend I would love to have in my life. If I was a writer I would write a story about her friendship with Bette and Tina. I don’t mean a sexual one either. I’m off for another nap before I go have blood drawn this morning. Thanks and hope to see another update when I get back from having my blood drawn. PPS

    3. You tease! But I think I can fill in the blanks. .. Shane is a very cool lady and a loyal friend. She makes mistakes and i am glad she has the support from B&T and Leigh. She will find her way.

      Thanks for the update!
