You want to tell me what is going on?” Bette can tell Tina is getting a bit frustrated. “Sweetie don’t be angry. Leigh, Alice and Shane were all in on the master plan to get you here this

    “An embarrassing moment? Like what me walking around in my birthday suit?” Bette laughs.

    “Something like that. You want to tell me what is going on?” Bette can tell Tina is getting a bit frustrated.

    “Sweetie don’t be angry. Leigh, Alice and Shane were all in on the master plan to get you here this evening. Leigh had to give you the gift box. Alice had to get you in an area close enough to the beach so that when Shane called it would be convenient for you to pick her up. Shane asked you to dinner so that it would give me time to drive here with Angie.”

    “So Shane seeing the lights on and getting me to come to the building was all part of your master plan to get me here?”

    “Correct.”

    “How is Shane getting back? She’s waiting for me downstairs to take her home?”

    “Actually I was getting to that. Shane is not waiting downstairs. She took your car home.”

    “What do you mean Shane took my car home? I have the keys.”

    “Please sweetie have some wine and relax. I gave Shane the extra set of keys to your car to drive it home. She didn’t have car trouble but she was dropped off so she really didn’t have a way back.”

    Tina takes the wine and walks over to the sofa. She could not believe how much trouble Bette had gone through just to get her there when all she had to do was ask her. Bette walked over and sat next to Tina.

    “You are probably wondering why I went through such as elaborate plan to get you here right?”

    “As a matter of fact that is exactly what I was wondering. I know you have a flair for the dramatic but today was really something; why so many detours?”

    “Well I had some ulterior motives. I gave Leigh the gift to deliver because I wanted the two of you to spend some one on one time together. I know you’ve accepted her as a friend but I want you to trust her like I do. Do you trust her? Do you still have any lingering doubts about her?”

      BAT2012, you for sure are a master in describing everything in detail and i fell in love with your Bette&Tina and the other people in this story.

    2. I’m with BIBI truly overwhelmed at the love and attention BETTE displays in delivering her acts of love.True friends ready to help with only a phone call or a spoken word without looking for anything in return just knowing they helped someone fulfill a wish.thanks pps.

      Mixed emotions regarding the finale tomorrow – looking forward to it but sad that’s it here.

    4. This was one of the best chapters to this story! In my opinion! Even though I love the whole story! I’m sad to see the end tomorrow:( I’m just looking forward to the next phrase of their lives. Off to eat me some strawberry shortcake that I made. PPS
